I have read the guide to Epcot as you guys recommended I do and I am not totally sure what rides/attractions i should do in future world (apart from testrack, mission space and soarin') What other attractions should I try and do there?

Also what are the best shows to see in World Showcase?

I will be on my own.

(I plan on doing Epcot over two days as it looks huge - so i want to take my time)

Thanks,

xjx

By far the best show in The World Showcase is the American Adventure. If possible the pre-show Voice of LIberty are great as well

With two days, you'll have no trouble seeing and doing everything. Just use your FPs wisely, and you'll slide right through if you're there at park opening. You'll probably have time to do your favorites more than once!

WS is huge. FW is relatively compact. Epcot is really like two separate parks that Disney decided to put under one gate. I'd recommend doing everything you want to in WS on one trip around, since it's a long way around the lagoon. If you need to cross back and forth between FW and WS, use the boats.

For my money, the good stuff's in FW. Your mileage may vary.

Tim, who thinks Every Person Comes Out Tired is the right acronym, at least if they do WS!

Definately check out Turtle Talk with Crush.. very entertaining!

shows we like in Epcot:
films in Canada & China
Acrobats in China
Drummers in Japan
Jammitors--they were in front of MS this past December
Off Kilter in Canada
street players at the UK
acrobats in France
band & bellydancing in Morocco, both outside & in the Restaurant Marrakesh
Innoventions--love it!
Illuminations!

Pick up an events schedule at your WDW resort or upon first getting into the parks

We are Spaceship Earth fanatics & the Universe of Energy.
DH & DS17 love MS
the Living Seas is just so cool. DS17 has done DiveQuest (liscenced scuba divers only)twice. there are also programs for snorklers--no liscence needed. Read up on them, (they are a seperate fee) & if it interests you, make reservations ASAP
Turtle Talk with Crush is cute!
Look for the talking fountain, hidden Mickeys

I have to add we loved the Lion King show in AK! not to be missed!

Of course those three rides you've already mentioned are musts but for me and my family we've always ridden Space Ship earth. It's a really relaxing ride through the big golf ball as I used to call it when I was little! Anyways in future world I recommend you go to the Ice Cool station, where you get to try out differen't cokes from around the world. It's always been a neat little thing to do, and taste! Another cool ride is Maelstrom in Norway, nothing "thrilling" or "fast" Just a cool little ride. Well I hope you have a wonderful trip!

AK don't miss the Lion King Show.

I have to add that I cannot "do" the movies in China or Canada because they are the "360 degree" movies and make me ill to my stomach. Be sure you know about this if you are prone to motion sickness because it's no fun to wait in line, then get in there to find out that the movie will just make you sick.

I also recommend Turtle Talk in The Living Seas. Very fun, even for adults! I also love "Honey I Shrunk the Audience - 3D movie".

We were there a few weeks ago and had two days for Epcot. I highly recommend this for everyone!! For the first time, we got to see the World Showcase in detail. I love the American Adventure show and the very talented singers in the pre-show. Miyuki the candy lady in Japan is great...especially if you have younger children (my 12 & 11 year old loved it too). We also were able to catch the Dragon Legend Acrobats in China, Sergio the Juggler in Italy and Serveur Amusant in France. All were good.

If this is your first trip to EPCOT, you paid the money to get in and in 2 days you can see it all and do it all. See the complete park and make up your own mind as to whats the best. What ones pleasure is may not be anothers grand idea of fun. There is alot to do there but way more just to visualize. The countries are wonderful, stop in every one, see, feel, touch and smell and don't just blow around looking for the ones just with the rides. Night time is really the best, less people, cooler and the subdues lighting makes you think you're not at a park but really at the country and never miss Illiminations, take a walk out the International Gateway and visit the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach resorts for a meal and enjoy the moment.

thank you - there are so many attractions to choose from at Future World - I don't know where to start!

Make sure you do the ride in norway....we loved it and for a nice peaceful ride the one in mexico was nice
