On our Universal day should we rope drop Escape from Gringotts or Minions? My kids will definitely want to do Minions and I hear the line gets backed up there. Doesn't help that it's right at the front either, they might have a hard time walking by it without stopping.

Are you having a full day there?

Maybe do minions first thing, we did all the times we rode as otherwise the line is always long 45/60 mins plus even in October. Popular characters, new ride and at entrance means long lines.

Then do diagon alley. if Gringotts line ok do it. If not then do an evening at diagon alley and ride then. Line just before closing was low.

Do you just have the one park day? If you have 2 days you could do minions on your islands of adventure day then walk to station and get train to islands of adventure.

We actually have 3 day tickets. We just might use the third day as a rest day before hitting up Disney. Sounds like Minions is the better way to go.

Also, on Universal's website it says there is a 40" height requirement for Minions then says "guests under 40" must ride from a stationary seat". Does that mean my son who is 39" will be able to ride the ride, even if it's in a stationary seat?

Yep, they are down the front, great for the little ones :)

Gringotts is often quieter Mid to late afternoon. I'd do Minions, then Twis... Oh wait. Then Disas.. errmmm, Men In Black :)

Minions, for sure. The line never gets short.
Gringotts goes through stages of long lines and shorter lines during the day.

I would do minions....we were just there and minions line has always been longer than gringotts.

Nah..If you have express you can do Gringotts first.Express waits for minions are usually less than 20 mins, standby is almost always an hour or more

Spot on!!!

If you have EP you`ll be fine for DM.......in September we saw queues regularly of 90 minutes and more sometimes....we never waited long at all in Express queue......always less than 10 minutes. Usually walked straight on.

Most mornings quite early it was already 45 minutes for regular queue.
