What ride makes you nauseous?

I get nauseous fairly easy (and it seems to get worse each year).
Rides I avoid completely are...
Tea Cups
Body Wars (eyes closed the whole time works)
Star Tours (eyes closed the whole time works)

Rides I can do and they cause a bit of trouble (to verying degrees) but I refuse give in...
Any 360 degree film
ToT
All Coasters (the longer the ride, the worse the nausea gets)
Astro Orbiter, Dumbo, Triceratops spin, Magic carpets
Carousel
Test Track
Dinosaur
Kali River Rapids (if the boat spins to much)

The only ride that makes me nauseous is "It's A Small World". Hearing that song over and over again and seeing all those bright colored, epileptic seizure inducing, puppets everywhere really makes me want to barf!

I can't do Star Tours or Body Wars either! I just can't do any simulated motion rides;) Also, I don't let dh and ds spin the teacups---actually last time I just skipped them all together!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble with the Teacups. I felt like such a wimp coming off of that ride feeling all loopy when my 7 and 4 year old daughters were doing fine.

Alos, Space Mountain got to me the first few times I rode it. Not knowing when the turns were going to happen made it a little rough. It's not the ride so much as it is the fact that it is in the dark.

I agree, Body Wars is the worst if you suffer from motion sickness. Also, I'm just o.k. with Star Tours and Tea Cups but won't ride unless someone else in my party wants to ride them.

Also, if you're going to Universal Studios, stay away from Back to the Future. It's another motion simulator just like BW and ST -- in my opinion, it's rougher than ST but tamer than BW.

I haven't done some of the motion-simulators (ie body wars), but can usually handle most rides, except...ASTRO ORBITER! my 3 yr old got me on this one during our last trip, at night, and if i wasn't so crazy about him, i don't think i'd have recovered yet! eeeek!

I ate a HUGE breakfast and DH, DD and I headed out to MK. The first ride we got on was the Tea Cups. Those two kept spinning the cup faster and faster. I feel queasy right now! I told them they better stop, because I was about to lose my breakfast. I had to sit down on a bench for a little while after that. I will NEVER eat such a big meal before going to the parks again!

I don't get motion sick, but Body Wars really threw my equilibrium off and I felt queasy for a while afterward,
So, avoid this ride if you can!:)

I can't do Teacups, Body Wars, and Primeval Whirl. Cat in the Hat is almost at my threshold.

Not sure about Dumbo, Carpets, Triceratops Spin, or Astro Orbiter as I've never even tried them.

Star Tours is fine for me and I love Spidey over at IOA.

I've also found that on coasters where they make me take my glasses off (Six Flags is famous for that), I don't do so well.

Carol

Star Tours
Body Wars
Primeval Whirl (because it spins)
some of the 360 movies where you remain standing make me queasy.
Riding backwards in the monorail

I did TOT and RNR within 5 minutes of each other and got a little green around the gills, but I was hungry and hot. Once I got a little sugar into me I felt okay. I did TOT again the next day with no problem (just to prove to DH that I could!)

Won't even try: Tea Cups, Dumbo, Carousel, Astro-Orbiter, Aladdin - anything that spins will do me in.

Is Mission Space going to be a simulator? I hope not!

I get quesy on:
1. DINOSAUR
2. BODY WARS
3. STAR TOURS
4. TEA CUPS
5. PRIMEVEAL HURUL(WHIRL)
:bounce: :( :bounce: :(

Body Wars! never again, thank you!

Funny, Star Tours never effects me and it isn't that different.

OH I almost forgot! My DH made his roller coaster at DQ with loops and a couple of sharp turns. The only problem the speed wasn't fast enough and I almost lost breakfast, lunch,& snack.

Many rides that I used to be able to do...all the sudden aren't fun anymore. I think it has to do with getting older (not as young as I used to be!).
These made me feel a little ick: (not horriable but not great either):
Space Mtn. (the worst)
Dinosaur

I didn't even attempt any spinning rides.

TOT does it to me just thinking about it. I don't do well on things about about 3 storys tall.

Another one for Tea Cups i'm afraid.

I find that i feel ill on any ride, i close my eyes and this usually helps. Especially on those simulation type rides - Star Tours, Body Wars, etc

i can do star tours without any problems, but body wars makes me ill! i can't do the tea cups, unless the others in my party agree to NOT spin the thing to death. but since i can't trust anyone in my tea cup, i don't ride...:teeth:

i'll ride dinosaur, but have yet to see the ride! my eyes are closed the whole time.

i refuse to do alien encounter. i don't like to be scared!

i don't mind 3D stuff, but i usually won't wear the glasses. but i have a hard time with ITTBAB...the special effects are amazing, but the bugs creep me out. i'll probably try it again on my next trip...hopefully i can sit far enough forward when the mean bugs attack that it won't bother me. i hate bugs!!!

other than that, i think that's all that i have issues with! i have yet to go to universal studios/islands of adventure...that's planned for next year...i guess we'll see what i can do then!!

I've developed motion sickness over the past few years. I started taking ginger root because it's natural and dramamine knocks me out (even the non-drowsy one). Think ginger ale when you are sick type of thing. Since then, the only problem I've had is with Body Wars.

We just returned from a March trip to DW and let me tell you, I don't usually get motion sick on rides (occasionally in cars but usually only if I'm trying to read or something). This was our experience with the rides:

Star Tours - no problem, loved it
Tea Cups - no problem, loved it
Test Track - no problem, loved it
Body Wars - was thankful it ended when it did or I might have thrown up on the woman next to me:D I was so motions sick for a good hour after that ride, we walked through the countries and I just got a cold drink and tried to "walk it off". I was totally suprised I felt so sick, especially since I had already done Star Tours (which is similar) and had absolutely no problem.

Best wishes on your ride adventure!! :Pinkbounc
