Sorry everyone, I meant to say "What time does the Illuminations Show " Start.:) We`d like to make a ps, just before. Thank you again, I hope ??!!

The best place to see Illuminations is from the outside patio of Rose and Crown restaurant. Get PS for 7:30-7:45.

Get to the restaurant early(by 7:00) and tell them you want to be seated outside, on the patio, to see the show. We've do that every trip (12) and never had a problem.

IT'S THE BEST!!!! ENJOY!!!

Usually the IllumiNations show begins when the park closes. For instance, tonight the park closes at 9 p.m. and IllumiNations begans at 9. So you would have a pretty late dinner because I think the park will be open later in Aug. I'm not sure but I don't think the park hours for Aug. have been posted yet.

As for restaurants with good views, The Rose and Crown has the best. Another good view can be had at the Matsu No Ma Lounge. But it serves appetizers and sushi. Not dinner. Perhaps a window seat at Bistro de Paris would afford you a view. But your taking your chances with that. Who's to say you would get a window seat?

Goodluck and I hope you have a great trip!

The Rose and Crown was not open for business when we were in WS this afternoon.

We forget how the sign was worded -- it didn't mention Rehab. But it was along the lines -- Closed to enhance your future enjoyment. Or something like that.

It was my understanding that the pub was closed but the restaurant is still open. But I may be wrong.

This is from MousePLanet:

"The Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room at Epcot closed for rehab yesterday, and is expected to reopen just before July 4, with the entire bar area supposedly being rebuilt from scratch. An outdoor bar will operate during the construction, with a limited drink menu. A permanant separation between the restaurant and bar will apparently be made as part of the work."
