My husband and I will be traveling to wdw in Dec.
I can start calling Wed morning for ressie's
Is there anywhere you recommend?? We have been before but did not really worry too much about where we ate. Now I want to make sure we get all the places we want to eat!! Is it silly for 2 adults to eat at Chef Mickey's?

THANKS!!!!!!!

I don't see anything wrong with adults without children eating at Chef Mickeys!

Go for it. enjoy and have fun!

Some of our favorites are: LeCellier, Mama Melrose, Biergarten, Rose and Crown, Plaza Restaurant (MK). We have done Chef Mickey's and like it, but we prefer Crystal Palace for breakfast at the Magic Kingdom with Pooh and friends. And just so you know, we are 55 and 50 (DH is the older one :lmao: ), and we go by ourselves every visit.

I hope not because my best friend and I eat there every year on our arrival night! And we're both in our late 20's.....plus it's fun to see all the kids with the characters :)

We also love: 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, Chefs De France and 50's Prime Time Cafe!

My wife and I went to WDW in July 2007. I would rank the seven Table Service restaurants we ate at in this order:

1. 'Ohana
2. Boma (ate there twice...once for dinner, once for breakfast)
3. Maya Grill
4. Sci Fi Dine-in Theater
5. Plaza Restaurant
6. Mama Melroses

We have done Chef Mickeys when our kids were younger but now just ME and DW so no way am I going there or at least till I have some grandchildren some day then I would go (I would feel silly waiving a towel every 2 minutes with out any kids with us). We prefer Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Capt Jacks and San Angle and last week were at Tepen Edo great place. Or even Rose and Crown if you get a ADR around 7:30 this is the best place to view Illuminations. This Sept. we are going to try Spoodles and the Brew Works and we are going to one character buffet at Crystal Palace for a breakfast buffet (I hope ther is no towel waiving there every 2 minutes). Also we are going to the Hoop De Doo this will be are 3rd trip there, first without our kids.
Too may better places to go then Chef Mickey's, but if this would be your first time there give it a try, we eventually want to get to every restaurant.

No towel waving at Crystal Palace...but there is a parade around the restaurant with the kids. And, DH and I have done Crystal Palace with our oldest son who was 18 at the time and his then girlfriend,k and we had a blast waving the towels and would gladly do it again. Everyone is a kid at Disney. :goodvibes
