What restaurants can a party of 7 sit together?

Are there any table-service restaurants in WDW where a party of 7 can sit at the same table?

Seems any time I go to make a reservation they tell me my party will be split up... but is this always the case? Are there some places where we have a chance of sitting together?

All of them.

Disney will give out that comment to anyone, even a party of two. Don't worry about it and make your reservation.

Ha! Even a party of one can get that warning.

We had a party of 8 last fall and never had an issue!!

I saw it on my reservations for one. My first thought was, I would really like to know how they plan to split me up from myself!

We get this warning all the time, but usually they do get you seated together. Once at Chef Mickeys they gave us an option to wait an extra 15 to 20 minutes or sit seperately. But every other time we were together or very nearby.

In 2010, there were 7 of us. We ate at CRT for lunch, Tusker House for breakfast, Whispering Canyon for dinner and The 50's Cafe for lunch. The only place we were split is was 50s cafe and that was only bc we offered to do so. It was so crowded, it was already a half hour past our reservation time and we could get seated sooner. But we did get two tables across from each other, so we weren't far apart. We could still talk to each other. You shouldn't have a problem.

This is good to know as we will be a party of 9 this trip.

I'm assuming we will actually get split up for Sci Fi Drive In though.

Ditto what was said above. 'Ohana worked perfectly for our party of 7 this past January-- we were seated at a large round table in a corner-- very easy to hear each other's conversation, but still plenty of room for all the food on the table.

I imagine Biergarten would also be a great set-up for a party of 7. Many of the tables are set for 8, so you would have that little bit of extra room on the table for all the yummy food choices. :cool1:

We had a party of 8 at: CRT, Garden Grill, T-Rex, Hoop Dee Doo, Captain's Grille, 'Ohanas, and Cape May.

think they say that in case it would happen but we have never had it happen. even a Le Cellier and it is small

I have received this same warning when I make a reservation for just myself. If they do split me up I hope the tables are adjoining, so I can keep myself together.

If the tables are far apart it may upset the other diners, because my blood and guts will be spilled all over the restaurant, making a very disgusting mess.

I'm glad I opended the thread as I wanted to ask almost the same. We are a partybof 5 and I got this message for a few restaurants.
In general, I would be fine with being seperated but a table for the five of us would be nice for my mother's birthday dinner at California Grill.

They say your party MAY be split up, not WILL be split up.

There isn't any restaurant at WDW that will guarantee a large party will be seated at one table, but they will do what they can to make it happen. With a party of seven you are likely to be seated at the same table at most restaurants. As for the warning, even parties of one get that from Disney's system.

We have had a party of 10 at CRT, Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill, Akershus, Hollywood&Vine, Boma, RF Cafe, Crystal Palace, Ohana, and 1900 PF. Always warned, never separated. I think that if at all possible, they always seat you together unless it's going to cause a MUCH longer wait. They often rearranged tables for us though, and never even suggested splitting up once we were there.

We were a party of 7 in 2010 and we were able to sit together at every TS restaurant including: Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Kona Cafe, CRT, Rainforest Cafe, Teppan Edo, Sci-Fi Dine-In, '50's Prime Time and San Angel Inn. I hope you have the same luck! Have a great time!

It's funny, I did NOT get the warning for my reservation for 7 for Biergarten or for 'Ohana. But I made one for 5 this morning and one for 2 at Akershus and both gave me the warning. I certainly hope they wouldn't consider splitting up my five year old daughter and myself...she'd probably be very vocal and disrupting to everyone around. :rotfl2:

So..you're hoping they do split you up then? ;)

I have a feeling that it has something to do with the setup of available tables. They probably have some sort of algorithm that determines what size tables are available, and when the single table that'd fit your party is taken, it shows the message.

Of course, that doesn't explain the message for tables for 1, but the fact that I wouldn't trust the Disney web developers to develop a flat HTML page saying "Hello World" without messing something up, does.
