I hope this hasn't been covered and I apologize if it has but my question to everyone is;
What restaurant would you recommend on the DDP? We are planning on being at WDW for 8 nights and would like to hear what people think are their favourite places to eat.
Looking forward to Mickeys' Not So Scary Halloween.

Thanks for all replys,

Rob

'Ohana...have been twice and will be returning on our March trip.

Kona Cafe....a very pleasant suprise, will be returning here on our Oct. trip!

Le Cellier...LOVED it, and definately doing again on our October trip too!

'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Rose and Crown, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, are our favorites.
There are so many...
Our next trip we are trying Boma, LeCellier and CRT (have been before but not recently.)
I hear Jiko and California Grill are very good if you don't mind using 2TS per meal.
Research the menus and see what appeals to you as well!
Have fun!:)

Thanks for the replies. I've been looking at the menus for the restaurants and I have been leaning toward Ohanas, Le Cellier and Coral Reef plus either a character breakfast or dinner and maybe Concourse Steakhouse. Still haven't run this by my DW though and I'm sure she would like some input. Its all her fault for giving me the task of researching our trip knowing how obsessive I can be.
I believe I read somewhere that you can start making ADRs 180 days out. Is that true?
Since we won't be arriving until October, it gives me lots of time to drive my DW crazy. If we would have went on a cruise for our Honeymoon instead of Dixie Landings, I wouldn't have known how much fun WDW is. Just a big kid I guess.
Let the countdown begin!

Thanks again for your replies and the link for ADR dates. Me thinks that its not going to be easy to narrow down picks. I'm glad that we are going for 8 nites so I can try a bunch. Better get out there and run a few more miles to compensate.:rotfl:

We have been going to Disney with kids in tow since 1998 :laundy: Each year we try a new restaurant and add it to our list. The kids :dance3: , of course, have their favorites that are a must each year along with my DH.

Boma:cheer2: is a favorite for the whole family, this is a must every year.

Cape May - great, kids love helping themselves.

Le Cellier - great, it is worth the wait in line, although they serve you bread sticks (in line) so you aren't starving!

Biergarten - great, alot of fun for the whole family, kids love the music and dancing, food is authentic German fare and we (kids, too!) found favorites on this buffet!

Ohana-great, the show is fun and the kids enjoy joining in the parade around the dining area, the staff were great paying special attention to the kids and making sure they were having fun.

Whispering Canyon - :cool1: This has to be the ultimate kid place for dinner! It is loud, fun and the staff is amazing!! This is also must for the kids! It is the one of the places where kids can be loud and have fun and the staff encourages every moment!

This will be our first time on the DDP and are looking extremely forward to this dining experience! We have set up reservations each night and our new experiences for dining will be:yay:

Coral Reef
Cinderalla's Royal Table
Arkershus
Crystal Palace
Spoodles

and of course we will be visting our old musts....Boma, Ohana, Le' Cellier

Any restaurant in Disney is amazing in its own way, so you really can't go wrong anywhere. Like us, finding you favorites along they way and discovering new ones is just part of the ultimate Disney Magic!

CRT will cost you 2 TS each.Is that worth it? Maybe. Id sooner do Cinderella's Gala Feast, for 1 TS. Also, how about a fam style character meal, like LTT, or Garden Grille?

If I had 8 TS credits per person to use, I'd go to: Boma(D), Cape May(D), Coral Reef(D), Le Cellier (D), Kona (D), 1900 Park Fare (B), Garden Grill (D), and Akershus (L or D).
