Just wondering what restaurant would you recommend for the package.

Pros and Cons....value for the $

We were thinking of Marocco but are unsure...

Which would you choose?

We've done the Candlelight Processional three times - and we LOVE it!!!! The show is absolutely breathtaking!!!!!!

We've eaten at LeCellier once, and Chefs de France twice! Both restaurants were VERY GOOD! We ate around 5:30 or so, and did the 8:15 show. It let out in time for Illuminations!!!!

Enjoy!!!!!

The Restaurants available are:

I talked with a very helpful CM who after searching different places found that the release date is TBA, but these are the offerings, this year.

I say chose the restaurant you would've eaten at anyway [you originally said Morocco] & then it'll really be a win/win situation. :)

There's two ways to get "value for the dollar".

One is to eat the most expensive possible meal for the fixed price. To do this pick a Tier 3 restaurant. (I'll let others recommend their favorite.) The servers will generally help you maximize your value as it increases the gratuity they receive, even though you've paid a fixed price which includes gratuity. You won't exactly save money this way, but when you compare the menu price of the meal you ate to the CP price, it will look like a bargain. Of course you have to be prepared to stuff yourself silly on this approach.

The other way is to get the best meal for the minimum expense, with the idea that you are interested in paying as little as possible for the CP priority seating. In this case you pick a Tier 1 restaurant. I recommend Garden Grill. We've done the CP package there the last couple years and it's worked out well. The cost has been around $2 per person more than what you would ordinarily pay at Garden Grill, so that is a good value in that you are buying priority seating at CP for pocket change. Children actually cost LESS in the CP package! (Caveat: The prices quoted above are a couple dollars higher than last year, but the basic idea still holds.) The food is quite good IMO, and you won't go away hungry as you can ask for seconds on anything. And unlike the other restaurants, (non-alcoholic) beverages ARE included in the price, since they are part of the standard Garden Grill meal.

The only disadvantage is that it's a long way from the amphitheatre and you have to give yourself plenty of time to get there.

We have eaten at Rose & Crown Pub for the CP the last two years and just loved it. You get alot of food for your money, and the food was very good. This year we are doing the CP package at Chef's De France. I know which ever restaurant you pick you will have a great time and meal.

Any others???

We would like the nicest dinner possible.

We will end up eating at Morocco even if it's not on the day of the package...

Any opinions on the BEST restaurant they offer the package with?

Any ideas on what celebs will do the Candlelight Processional this year?
