What restaurant does everybody hate...but you love?

The Electric Umbrella. It really brings back memories of the old Stargate restaurant and Communicore.

We love 9 Dragons, but it gets no love on the boards. We know it's still American-Chinese food, but darnit, I can't get enough of the Honey Sesame Chicken. The good thing for us, is that we can always get ADRs last minute here if we need to.

Ditto this exactly. :)

I really like the SciFi as well. DH was disappointed that we didn't go this last time.

I don't know about "everybody hating", but I seem to read more negative reviews about San Angel Inn? It is our favorite. We have always recieved the best service and the food is always good. I suspect the negative comes from the "cheap" crowd, used to Taco Bell prices, who are shocked by higher costs at resort/theme park prices!:wizard: :stir:

PS...Sci Fi has also been good to us and a favorite although we see it just as a lunch stop and not dinner/supper type restaurant.

I have NO problem with Tony's Town Square but lots of people HATE it!:confused3

I was so afraid to take my group to Mama Melrose -- I had heard so many negative things. It was one of our favorite meals of the trip. (And we had numerous food snobs with us)

Another Sci-fi fan here.. We have never had a bad meal there and its cool and fun. DD loves eating in the car and dont get me started on milk shakes.

Sci-Fi fans here too...;) I say stick to the burgers, onion rings & milk shakes!
Coral Reef - We really enjoyed it but it seems to dissapoint so many. :confused3 Nice lunch, fun atmosphere, great service. :)

What a great SCI FI thread!!! Count us in for sci fi, also San Angel and Mama Melrose!

We love Sci-Fi, too. :thumbsup2

It's the only restaurant that we eat at every single trip. :)

Sci Fi, I really like the atmosphere, it is just a fun place. Food? Well that is another story.

Alfredo's because it was the first place DH & I had dinner as husband & wife so it was wonderful for sentimental reasons.

We had a great dinner experience at Tony's. I have to admit I was nervous eatting there reading all of the reviews, but I'm looking forward to going back!

Glad to hear this. I have Mama Melrose booked for August and I was getting a little nervous about it.

Im a big Sci-Fi fan. We used to go every trip when we were younger and now we get there at least once year out of our couple trips. My sister even worked there for a while!~

On our recent trip, we did our TS meals at Sci-Fi, Mama Melrose, and Planet Hollywood in DTD. They all were delicious! DH and I are pretty picky eaters and we were pleasantly suprised. Mama Melrose has the best flatbread we ever tasted!

Y'all are making me hungry. ;)

Oh wow! We LOVE Sci Fi! I would be surprised to hear otherwise! We've been twice in the last year with our gang plus my (picky) parents and everyone loved it! :thumbsup2 Ohhh....the milkshakes....

I can't pin it down to one--had to be two: Mama Melrose and Pepper Market.
