Sorry, I'm sure this has been answered many times over, but with the search feature not working, I have to ask.

Last time we went, we stayed at the FW Cabins, which offered airline check-in right from our resort. So on our last day, we could get our boarding passes right there at the resort, drop our luggage off at the lobby (they would transport it to the airport), and go enjoy our day. It was NOT part of Magical Express (we had a rental car). It ended up not working out for us because MIL messed around with our airline ressies and we ended up on standby. But with confirmed seats, I can see where this would have been a really nice feature. This was NOT something that we had known about prior to our trip. We found out about it when we were checking in.

My question is, we're staying in a different resort this time. Is there someplace online that tells which resorts offer this service? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think almost all of them do. :)

One way to find out for sure is call the central calling center and ask about the particular hotel you have a question about.

Or, ask here...I'm sure someone would know. ;) :)

I believe all of them offer airline check-in. You may want to check the Magical Express FAQ on Disney's website for more information. The only resorts I could find specifically listed as NOT offering airline check-in are Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

Hope this helps! :)

1) All Disney resort have DME and airport check-in.
2) Any resort can print boarding passes at Front Desk or Concierge Desk.
3) For luggage, you go to the airline desk, either in or just outside the resort.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not, but when it was offered to us 3 years ago, the airport check-in option at the resort had nothing to do with Magical Express. We had not signed up for ME, nor did we plan to (we had a rental car). But they still said we could leave our luggage at the resort and print our boarding passes there, even though we planned to drive to the airport in the rental. Is this kind of service still offered? Or JUST the ME? Thanks!

The airline check in, is not part of ME, I think the info is just included with the ME FAQs.
Each resort has the airline check in, it is a separate desk, the hours are limited however.

Here is some of the info from the Disney website:

Resort check in and ME are not connected in anyway, so ME will not be where you want to get any information.

If you will see my post above you will see that in fact the Resort check in information is with the Magical Express FAQs

Settle, Settle,

I'm not saying that it is not listed here on the "DIS" along with information about ME....but the fact is, they are two SEPARATE services and should not be confused as one service.

In August we were really pleased with the thought of checking in our bags at POR. I guess it was our airline, AirTran, that said "no". When we were at the airport we noticed others from Disney that were having to check in their luggage too. Not to mention somehow AirTran messed up our flights and part (or maybe all) of the return flight was cancelled. This was discovered after the LENGTHY check in process. Then after another lengthy amount of time we were told it was fixed and just made our flight.
