I was just wondering what resorts in the value to moderate are good to go for your honeymoon?:bride: :groom: :love2:

Thanks for all your help

CBR is a great resort for a honeymoon. You have the beaches with hammocks. You can lay in one at night at watch the fireworks from Epcot. There is Parrot Cay, the island with pathways that are very secluded with benches along the winding paths.

We truly feel like we have escaped to the islands when we stay at CBR.

We love POR but it may be closed for rehab when you get married. Other than that CBR is very nice also, just a little spread out. You might try for some type of code to get the price down a little. Were a deluxe type of family but we're staying at PC in a couple of weeks and if we like the resort as much as we think, it might be very hard going back to spending over $200 a night at a deluxe when we're spending $50 at PC. Congrats from a 20 year married man.:firefight

POR (aka: the old Dixie Landings) or POFQ both have beautifully manicured properties.

We honeymooned (Disneymooned) at CBR. WE LOVED IT! But the hottub is right by the pool and kids are jumping in and out. That was my only complaint. Our TA at the time tried to get us to stay at Dixie Landings which is now called Port Orleans Riverside. She said it is the "most romantic moderate." We haven't stayed there though. We have stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and loved it too. You can take a boat ride (free!) from the dock there to the dock at DTD which is really nice and also the hot tub there is big and off around the laundry room away from the pool so there aren't as many kids jumping in and out.

I really can't say that any of the value resorts are "romantic" but if you are on a budget, they are ok. There are no hot tubs at them. (I am not for sure about POP, but I don't think so.) So anyway, that is the hot tub report from me. ha ha :P

If you can swing a discount, try to stay at the Polynesian. It is wonderful!!!!! We stayed there this past June and thought it was fabulous.

I have also heard tremendous things about the All Star Vacation Homes. Of course, they aren't "onsite" but you can get one of the smaller ones for about what you would pay for a moderate per night and you would be "alone" with your own pool and hot tub.

CBR if you like a quiet secluded beach feel. I think PORFQ would be my next choice but not CSR and I wouldn't suggest either of the value resorts if you really want a romantic quiet time. I would say that you should look at Mousesavers.com and see if you can get a good deal on a deluxe. Or maybe you are eligable for one of the S/D discounts.
