What resaurants offer Fantasmic or Illuminations package?

I've seen posters mention Fantasmic or Illuminations dinner packages but so far have been unable to find anything on them. Is there a list? Also I'm assuming that Fantasmic and Illuminations are the fireworks at MK. Please someone correct me if I am wrong in this.

Fantasmic is at MGM
Illuminations is at Epcot

I would not describe them as fireworks. Fireworks are part of the shows but they go far beyond that.

There is only a Fantasmic Dining Package. Illuminations has private cruises.

Edited to add: I think there is some kind of Illuminations dinner for Grand Gathering Groups.

I have never done the MGM Fantasmic package so I can't comment on it.
Concerning Illuminations: You might be thinking about people who eat at Rose and Crown in England and then are allowed to watch Illuminations from the RandC private viewing area. I highly recommend doing this. We get ADR's for around 7:30pm and then eat a relaxed dinner until 9pm when Illumnations starts. Then we can finish dessert and coffee while the park empties out. It is a wonderful end to your day! HTH

Can you see illuminations from any of the tables outside? I was thinking about making reservations there but thought I read that you were not able to guarantee an outdoor table.

Not all the "outside" tables have views but your server will show you to a place where you can see the show. We have never had a problem. If you don't get an outside table they will take to a viewing area so you can see, then you can go back inside to finish your meal. This is how it has worked for us in the past.

From what I remember, the restaurants participating in the Fantasmic! package includes the Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose, and the Hollywood Brown Derby. Fantasmic! Dinner Package Info

I'm thinking about Melrose for fantasmic but I want to order off the regular menu. Has anyone asked to use the regular menu? Can you get tickets with the regular menu? Or another idea is just to eat there and get the regular seats.

i have never eaten at Mama Melrose's. We did Hollywood and Vine last time just cuz its a buffet and you aren't limited to just certain items. If you are looking forward to ordering off of the regular menu at Mama's then I suggest you just make a ADR for Mama and then sit regular seating for Fantasmic.

When do you plan on going? If the crowds aren't too bad, then just go for the restaurant. I figured that since it may be a lil crowded and the "limited" items at Hollywood Brown Derby are what I want to eat anyways, we might as well do the package.

It's all according to your preference.

Hi, we did the Fantasmic package at Hollywood and Vine on Thanksgiving Day and the food was ok but it was great to just walk in to Fantasmic. We did not have to waste time waiting in line.They reserve a section just for that and there were plenty of seats. We are going to do it again this year but will try a different restaurant.

We did Mama's and you get a special dinner. I remember and entree and salad, not sure about desert? It was a special menu only with the pkg. foods that are on the deal. It was very good, and we had almost all selections for the entree available.
