What really makes you happy at Disney?

For me, it's the fantastic way that Disney pays attention to detail. I feel as though I'm in a 'whole new world' (no pun intended). I love the music that's played througout, the kindness of all of the people, the laid back, relaxing walk around the world in Epcot as I visit each country, and the night-life. Everything comes alive at night, more so than during the day. I love how the Haunted Mansion seems to be asleep during the day and wakes up at sundown. I love how Spectromagic seems to come alive on Main Street and the lights glitter off of the buildings. And I love the constant reminder that Disney is all around you every where you go in 'The World'. So, that's why I love Disney and why it puts me on everytime I go.

I love all the planning. I love singing along to the hold music when calling Disney reservations. I love getting stressed out trying to plan dining ADRs.

I love hugging my BFF (not married or dating anyone special enough so she's my Disney travel buddy for now!) when we walk out of the travel agent's office when everything is book and doing our giddy dance and clapping!

I love walking off the plan in Orlando and feeling the heat and humidity blast in the plane door.

I love resort lobbies and their smells. Also, the clean room smell when you first walk in. I love settling in, placing things around the room and choosing which beds we want! I love getting wake-up calls in the morning (and I NEVER say that at home!) I love having my stuffed souveniers being specially arranged by mousekeeping!

I love seeing the signage before I get into the parks!

I love standing on a crowded Disney bus and hearing the kids chatter and smelling sunscreen (one of my fav smells! LoL)

I love the first glance of the castle in MK, I love listening to the fake payphones, I love the smell of Mainstreet and the beauty of the architecture of the entire park. I love the spiels of all the rides (esp, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, etc.), I love waiting in line at Splash Mountain and listening to the birdhouses. I love the fixin's bars at the CS restaurants. I love sitting on the curb with snacks waiting for parades! I love talking to kids in line and getting them to tell me about the rides they've been on and whats going to happen on the ride we're waiting for. I love singing along in IASW right in my BFF's face while she covers her ears!

At MGM, I love talking to streetmosphere actors. I love the TOT looming over me and pretending to be terrified of it to kids in line and to the bellhop CMs. I love playing in the Honey I Shrunk The Kids playground. I love eating at the 50's Primetime and getting an extra chocolate ice cream soda to sip while walking around in the sun!

At Epcot, I love strolling through WS in the morning, and then again at night to admire the beauty of the architecture and marvel at the difference of our world's cultures. I love looking at silver in the mexico pavillion and buying my mom a troll at Norway. I love feeling superior when walking through the Canadian pavillion (go Canada!) I love entering spaceship earth. I love tucking my legs up early at Honey I Shrunk the Audience. I love watching the aquariums. I love figment and singing along.

AT AK, I will love everything. In all the times I've been to WDW since it's opened, I still haven't been there! Last time, my DC kyle was too afraid of seeing the animals so we walked in and then left!

I love the satisfied feeling at the end of a Disney day. I love smiling. I love seeing the sleeping kids slung over shoulders. I love admiring my souvenirs before bed. I love looking forward to the next day.

I love planning the trip.

Watching my son's expression as we get close to the parks and then when we arrive.

Singing along to the rides theme songs (sometimes you can even get others to join).

Riding around the park in the train, with the wind blowing through my hair, just taking each land in.

Sitting at Cosmic Rays on the outside terrace people watching and looking at the ducks down below.

Listening to Jim play the piano at Casey's as I eat my hotdog, all while people and castle watching.

Sitting on "my bench" at the UK's garden, just having some quite down-time and great prayer time.

Riding on ME to the hotel, watching a Disney video that it has playing, and hearing the words, "Folks, you are now on Disney property" from the bus driver.

Going on the ME bus and watching Disney cartoons.

Arriving anywhere, and being able to go, "Oooh! Look at that! Oh! See _____, over there? Oh my gosh!" and doing a happy dance.

Seeing everything you saw online come to life.

Seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time.

Smelling the bakery scents on Main Street.

Walking through an almost-empty park.

Hugging any character, especially Mickey.

Watching that top 10 rides thing in our hotel room.

Watching the night time shows, especially Wishes and Spectromagic.

Listening to a really happy Disney song.

The parks at night.

Flashbacks to other Disney World vacations.
