If there are 2 shows offered on the day you are there, go to the second one. You can show up 15 minutes before the start of the second show and get a great seat.

Arrive about 45 mins early for the show if there is only one showing the day you go. We prefer not to sit too close to the front as we don't want to get wet but that's personal preference.

Please follow CM's directions for seating. They're working hard to seat a lot of people in a fairly short amount of time and do an amazing job but it's so much easier when people follow their directions.

Depending on the age of your child(ren) there are some intense scenes.

We like to sit towards the top, so we don’t get in line too early. We kinda hang out by the line, and as the line grows, we then gauge by how many people are there to decide when we get in line. IMO, the farther back you are is what gets the best view.

I agree, and it's easier/faster to get out after.

Towards the back and as far to the aisle as you can get especially if you have folks with sensory sensitivities.
Bring something to do while you are waiting in your seat…heads up is a great time waster. Use the restroom before entering the theater as it can be hard to re-locate your party in the dark.
Hand held fans depending on the time of the year, while the sun is down all those bodies generate heat.
If budget allows a dining package is a great way to save time waiting in line later. Look for breakfast offerings for a lower price point.

When it's over, the crowd is directed to exit through back ways to Sunset Boulevard. There is no alternative route, no shortcut. You will move at crowd speed, which is anywhere from a slog to a shuffle. To avoid being packed in, hang back until the arena is empty. You'll still shuffle but there will be some space around you.

Very similar to exiting MK after fireworks.

Fortunately, you'll still be humming the music and grinning.

Dining package seating is in the two middle sections of the theater, so prime viewing! They fill the rows from the bottom up, first come, first seated. At some point before Fantasmic begins (10 minutes? 15? I can't remember) they do let guests into any remaining seats in those sections, so you shouldn't show up at exactly show time and expect to benefit from having the dining package.

When you book the dining package, you'll be offered a choice of dining times. Usually those times are earlier (i.e. lunch or very early dinner) so that you have plenty of time to finish eating before you need to go to the theater.

We sat in row 4 slightly off center and regretted it. Lots of water made it hard to watch and it was cold too.

If there are two showings, aim for the second one and you can usually stroll in much closer to start time and still get a solid view. I like sitting higher up toward the back since it’s easier to see everything and you’re less likely to get the full spray.

Last time we had the dining package, we were happy to arrive while they were still filling the higher rows in the first section. We don't like to sit down in front either - been there, done that years ago, like the view and staying dry up high.

Yes cant wait to watch it again from the back, then I will get to see the whole show! Kept covering mine and the baby face from the water.
