What rates ar Fl. Residents getting today w/code EWO?

I got Ft. Wilderness Cabins 10/14-10/17 at 188.44 per night including tax! A savings of 81.50 a night over our existing AAA rate.

She applied code BAT which is the general code and I reminded her that I am a FL. resident and she said the discounted rates are the same for BAT and EWO. Does this sound right?

I applied the EWO (FL resident) code to our ressie at POP for Oct 1-6. It was $69 a night. Not sure if this is the best rate or not, but it beats the $99 a night we had booked!!

Just got CBR preferred for $314 for 3 nights (Dec 9-12). I haven't even divided it out yet to see what the per night is. Let's see.... $104.66 w/tax.

I was wanting to try POR since we always stay at CBR, but all that was available was a king bed. Not gonna work for 4 people. We've never stayed in a preferred room, but sure wish we did last time so I went for it this time.

Hi Deweysgirl!!!!

I just got off the phone and I was only on hold for about 5 minutes!!! I could not believe it!!

We already had two rooms at WL for Dec 5-Dec 8 under the email code. I really wanted woods view but it was not available at the time so I got the courtyard view for $137.50

I was able to apply the Fl residents EWO discount. The price for the courtyard view was the same as the email code but they did have woods view available under EWO. I switched us to woods view at $121 per night.

It is good to live in Florida!!!!

No, the FL (EWO) resident code is the same discount as the AP (EWP)rate.

BAT is a 'general public' code, so naturally those discounts are never as steep.

I thought so. I called back and she said that EWO would have saved me $13.00 total for the 3 nights over the BAT code but now all Fl. Resident rates were unavailable for the dates I needed. Oh well.

I kept the BAT code, it's ok because I'm saving tons over what I had booked through AAA. I'm happy with the savings!

Hi Seastar!! Congrats to you on your discounts! We stayed at WL Summer-2003 and loved it. We also had a woodsview room and it was beautiful! Have fun on your trip!

and no.. i'm not a FL resident but my bestfriend traveling with us is.. and has never been to WDW... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

Called this morning 7:00am for the BAT code was on hold for about an hour...had to give up to go to work...thought well that's it...saw the Florida Passholder code had been released so I called at 1:00pm when I got home from work, I was on the phone a total of 15 minutes...

Spoke with Bruce a wonderful CM, he said this morning was brutal, he was able to appy the Florida Passholder rate to my reservations for Wilderness lodge Dec 12-18...standard view $109.00 a night..with tax $121.53 (two rooms before discount $1953.48...two rooms after discount $972.32)

It's good to live in Florida...

tried all am trying to get through and finally at 12:30pm asked about the BAT nothing in my price range so when I got home I checked online and there was a fla resident rate and called back. I got the CBR for $88.09 a night with tax. didnt know about the perferred one and will try and call back tomorrow am. I would like to be close to the pool for the kids. thanks
