just wondering if anyone had some tips on what quick service places to eat at? I am really excited about a turkey leg! should i be? we need a quick service at every park

Hi, welcome to the DIS! :goodvibes

Here are my favorites:

MK: Pecos Bills and Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons and Tangierine Cafe
AK: Yak & Yeti
DHS: Maybe Backlot Express but this isn't my fave park for CS
DTD: Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express (the one in the Marketplace)

Totaly agree with the pp. With the exception of backlot express, I don't think there are any worthy Q.S. places at HS. I would rather eat at DTD then go to the park. Definately second the Puck!

Thx for starting this thread! We always have a hard time with the quick services. Same thing on every menu. Are the ones listed in the PP all on the dining plan?

I like the flame tree bbcue in AK, the smoked 1/2 chicken is good - but I really like sitting in the covered pavilion down by the water. It's protected from sun/rain and not as crowded as the seating area closer to the counter service area.

Flame Tree bbcue is also my favorite CS. I go for their wood smoked ribs. They are doing a refurb. right now. They'll reopen Sept. 20th.

Just back from 8 days of QSDP. We love the freedom of the QSDP. We had more food than we knew what to do with. Where you eat depends on where you are staying. We where on the monorail, so getting to the monorail resorts was easy (that is where our fav CS resort dining is).
Here are my family's favorites;
My family's absolute favorite QS is Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD! We love this place.
MK is Columbia House and eating on the second floor.
EPCOT is America for my kids and Tangerine Cafe for adults. We all meet up and eat in America.
DS the worse, other than snacks nothing. We ate at Pizza Planet and it was ok.
Hotels
We love the CS at The GF, CR, and WL. They all have huge menus with big varieties.
The best place for snacks is Main Street in the MK. Double scoops of ice cream, bakery for breakfast and gignatic snacks, and candy store to use up left over credits.

Here are my favorites:

MK: Pecos Bills or Cosmic Rays
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
DHS: Toy Story Pizza Planet
AK: Is not one of my favorite parks, so I usually don't eat there.

Have fun on your upcoming trip!!!

I love this thread. We need some new places to eat!

Here are our favorites:

MK: Cosmic Rays
Epcot: Yorkshire Country Fish Shop & San Angel Cantina
HS: Pizza Planet & Rosie's All American Cafe
AK: Flame Tree BBQ & Yak and Yeti

MK Starlight Rays for chicken and rib meal
Epcot Sunshine Season
Mexico
China
Studios haven't found much there
Animal Flametree BBQ
Yak and Yeti counter .. we actually liked better than TS

:thumbsup2 Absolutely Wolfgang Puck Xpress in DTD(Marketplace):dance3:.
We had free DDP last year and ate 4 of our 5 CS meals here.
Also another vote for Columbia Harbor House in MK.
Another good one is Cooke's of Dublin in DTD.

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express
DHS: Starring Rolls (lunch only...closes around 4:00 p.m.)
MK: Cosmic Rays, 2nd place Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons/The Land/Epcot, 2nd place Tangierine Cafe
AK: Flame Tree BBQ

We enjoyed the CS part of Yak and Yeti, Captain Cooks at the Poly, and Tangierine Cafe.

Most of the CS we like are already listed by the previous posters (Cosmic Ray's-MK, Sunshine Seasons-Epcot, Yorkshire Fish & Chips-Epcot, England, Flame Tree BBQ). But we also love Gasparilla Grill at the Grand Floridian, we go there twice for the Southwest Chicken Sandwich (and were just talking about it today). You get a side, and a dessert on the DDP. It comes with cole slaw on the sandwich, but we ask for it on the side, and then each get fries (or cold cucumber salad) as our additional side. Delicious!

hooo boy, this thread is great! Thanks for all the answers!! My DD's are there now and just texted asking which resort to try for a quick service meal ..... I fired off answers for them! the DIS Rocks!:cool1:

For a resort qs go to Corondo Springs @ Pepper Market. You can get a Ribeye Steak w/ potatoes & veggies. Plus dessert & drink.

MK: Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays has a good chicken and rib basket

Epcot: We loved Tangierine Cafe: My daughters even enjoyed the food here. The Brats are good in Germany and the Chinese wasn't bad either.

AK: Yak and Yeti

DHS: We ate at one of the places in front of Tower of Terror. I know I had a sandwich and it was good. Nothing to dream about.
