Yep, that's another brand name item in our house. You are right, cardboard is a good description of the store brand ones.

Kraft Mac & Cheese
Dawn dish soap--the previous poster was right, the store brands don't hold up.
Beer--I'm a big fan of Sam Adams., but Corona's OK too.
And this one surprises me--sour cream. I usually buy the store brand, but recently a name brand was super cheap so I bought some. Finished up the store brand one day, ate the name brand the next day--wow, what a difference! It tasted so much better!

I still buy store brand aspirin, etc. No difference for me at all.

Have to have my Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Any other kind of mac and cheese is just no good. We buy the stuff in bulk.
Cains Mayonaise
Sprite
A&W Rootbeer (Barq's is nasty stuff)
A&W Cream Soda
Charmin or Quilted Northern TP-mom buys Scott for the rest of the house but our bathroom gets the good stuff
Clinique Conditioner
Sudafed (Walmart knock offs don't do a thing)
Playtex tampons
Lays potato chips
Prego sauce
Hood ice cream sandwiches-the rest are the definition of cardboard
Puffs Plus tissues-anything else makes me look like Rudolph
Sargentos grated cheese

Arm and Hammer Laundry detergent
Clorox 2
Pinesol
Apple Jacks
Xbox (playstation just doesn't cut it:p )
Ivory soap
(I don't care what kind of ketchup it is;) )

Pop-Tart
Kellogg's Froot Loops & Corn Pops cereal
Cheerios
Kikkoman soy sauce

Skippy peanut butter
Diet Pepsi
Purex :teeth: Love the scent!!
Heinz Ketchup
Hebrew National hot dogs
Bumble Bee solid white tuna
Spray 'n Wash
Progresso soup
Smart Balance Light

I buy a lot of brand name products. Don't trust the store brand. ;)

Aluminum foil!! I have the Target brand right now and I can't wait to be finished with it! Funny, I don't know what brand I normally use. I know it's in a blue and silver box. Maybe Reynolds?

Dr. Pepper, those "store brands" just aren't the same
