Ok, I personally have not been able to win any prizes during the YOAMD Celebration, and we have been twice since it started. Maybe we will luck out and be awarded something this trip! In the mean time, I would love to hear what you all have won, where you were and how it happened! :goodvibes

We have been 4 times since YOAMD started and I have recieved 2 tinkerbell, pixiedust pins. Last year on our last day we were at the Polynesian wrapping up our monorail pin trading tour ( a tradition) and a CM was in the same giftshop looking for a pin w/ veggies, I told him if he could see if the other giftshop in the Poly had any pins left over from Thanksgiving that there was one of Minnie holding a cornucopia. He did and they did and he came back upstairs and said since I'd done something nice for him he wanted to return the favor. He gave me a set of 2 pixie dust pins. There were rules on the card that since you got the pins for doing something good that you should tear off the 2nd pin and give to another guest that you catch doing something helpful or nice. I LOVED that and hated that we were leaving that day. I held onto it for quite sometime until another diser from the boards did something nice for me and sent the pixie dust pin out to her.

Then this year we had just arrived and I was trying to get our stroller while everyone else was still trying to get in the gate and I had my tink filled lanyard on. The CM said I must like tink and I admitted I did. She said there was a pin missing from my lanyard and gave me another pixie dust pin. This was on a similar card but it didn't have the 2nd pin or same set of instructions. It was very similar but different than the other one I have.

I was very excited both times. As soon as I ran into my hubby the 2nd time I was showing it off immediately:yay:

I hope you have a great trip and find some pixiedust of your own:wizard:

That is so awesome!!! We are traveling with friends of ours, so there will be 9 total in our traveling party. I hope one of us gets something!!! :goodvibes

There's a great thread over on the main forum of all the wonderful stories from YOAMD, so exciting to read about (Someone even had a night's stay in the castle and posted pictures!)

We have been twice this last year... first time our boys (Then only 11 months old) were named Honorary Fly Boys (or something like that), and were allowed on to Peter Pan at MK with no line, no fast pass line... walked up to the front, given a certificate & pixie dust... and then afterward taken to get autographs and pictures with Wendy and Peter Pan. Truly wonderful and unexpected.

Then this past May, we took a Disney Cruise, and were awarded the "YOAMD Family", being announced and allowed onto the ship first, before any other guests were invited onto the ship. We were also asked to take pictures with both Minnie and Mickey (As they exchanged spots... since other guests were invited to take a picture with only 1 of them, but they ushered us over to take a picture with both before being announced to the waiting crowd.

AMAZING!

We never expected even one dream... and being awarded one on each trip was fantastic... we are going in December again, and have our fingers crossed to have another magical experience... but know that we will, even without YOAMD!

We were in Innoventions and we'd pretty much decided we were done and I saw the dream team walk in. One came up to me and asked if we'd done the fire saftey house game, sorry don't know the actual game, but the one where you go around with flashlights and pick out the safety hazzards, anyway, I said yes, we'd already played and he told me we should play again. So we did and they had obviously rounded up more people to play. Before we started the team gave us all YOAMD mickey ears. It was funny seeing us all run around the house in those hats.

We got free ice-cream in MGM and were upgraded to concierge at the BC the same trip, and put at the front of the line for Peter Pan one night but that was just pixie dust. Not done by the dream team

Upgraded to Concierge Level!!!! :woohoo: WOW!!! :goodvibes

My girls got a special meet and greet with Cinderella. They had her in a back room and they open the cutains up and the girls went running. They even had a photopass photographer. It was special, I'm hoping to get something special for this trip. It's the baby's first trip, I know he wouldn't know but the pictures will be great!

Don't feel bad...we went to DIsneyland 7 seperate times (3 of them more than one day) and WDW twice, and on the last trip we FINALLY got dreamed!
We got dream Fastpasses at Animal Kingdom while we were waiting for the train. It saved us alot of time, and 3 rides on Everest in a row, as my 3 kids are too small!

I don't know if it was from the dream team but at LTT we received a merry unbirthday cake! After our meal our server came out with the cake and said that today we were celebrating our unbirthday! It was so cool! The cake tasted so good too!:cutie:

LOL - the same thing happened to us on our last day of our trip at Innoventions. They told us we should really go play the fire safety game. We won fast passes. We won fast passes at Animal Kingdom earlier in the week. The girls got to play a clean up game with the cleaning crew at Epcot one day (not dream team). And not YOAMD but we were picked to be family of the day at MK! We got to open the park and hang out with lots of characters - just the 4 of us. The pictures aren't working for some reason but you can read about it in my trip report in my signature.

my six year old daughter was waiting in line to see mary poppins. mary poppins grabbed my daughters hand and walked to the carousel, went to the front of the line and rode with my daughter.:) awesome

I am LOVING all of your replies!!! I sure hope we get some extra Disney Magic on our upcoming trip!!! 36 Days 12 hrs until WDW!!!

We've been 2xs since YOAMD, and have yet to win anything. BUT, we're hopeful that this trip will spread a little pixie dust and we will win something great!

We lived in Orlando for 6 months during the YOAMD and we have seen THREE people get the castle! We have seen a ton of people with dream fast passes and all but we have missed it everytime LOL. This past weekend, as we got off of Space Mt, there was the dream team standing there and I started to walk really slowly hoping they would stop us LOL. but they didn't :( oh well

We won dream FP 2x (in May and July) at MK walking out of Peter Pan, and Pooh. And we got the Tinkerbell pins, but not from DT...

We felt the Pixie Dust was upon us when we went.

Our family was getting on Soarin and the CM who was telling us our instructions told us at the end of her speach she was really with the "YOAMD" team then gave us all Lanyards with 1 Mickey and Minnie pin and 1 Donald and Goofy pin.

Our next pixie experience was on Everest as we pulled back into the station and got off the ride there they were handing us Blue and silver Mickey Ears

Last but DEFINITELY not least was on Tower of Terror. After we rode the ride we were stepping out of the car when a CM told us we were chosen to go back and ride it again front of the line....... WHOOOO HOOO They took us up an elevator to the ride then let us board first. I felt like a celebrity :cool1:
