But I do worry that I want to live the same kind of life I have now with travel and everything and I am scared to really retire.

You'll figure it out somehow; still travel but maybe less often. Think of it this way; you'll be able to travel when the best deals are available and you'll save some work expenses like clothing and lunches and on car insurance by not commuting every day.

Yes I agree, I have to make it work, it is just a little nervousness.
