What plans do you make your last day at Disney?

We generally drive so that we can leave when we want, but if we do fly, having an early deadline always stresses me out. I can never enjoy myself at the park for fear of being late, so we just skip the parks on the last day and get an early ADR so we can enjoy breakfast before heading out.

Normally we always hit MK for our last day for early morning rides then get to the airport. That may change this year as the PM EMH is the night before we leave. Don't know that the kids will want to get up for a rope drop just to ride a couple rides. Our flight doesn't leave until 5pm so we need to do something but we will be sleeping in this time.

The past years we always went to DD to buy last minute items. This year though we are either going to hangout at the pool or the waterpark. Our flight leaves at 6pm so we have most of the day to enjoy.

We have gotten into the routine of scheduling nothing on our arrival/departure day. That way we can be more relaxed. We can sleep a little later, have breakfast at the resort and meet DME in plenty of time.

How exciting to be planning your first trip! I'm sure there will be many more, each one more magical than the last.
