What perk would you want to see added?

I have two that come to mind. I really wish we could opt out of the daily security room checks!! I cannot stand being interrupted, it's such an invasion of privacy, drives me right up the wall to get that knock on the door. Second, bring back the ability to check in to the airport on day of discharge and get rid of our luggage. I SO miss that perk.
I totally agree with you on the security checks. One of the reasons we vacation is of course to relax. We work hard and enjoy savoring as much time as we can in these beautiful rooms including the occasional nap. Being interrupted by the phone constantly ringing or knocking on the door when they want to come in irritates me to no end. If they want to snoop around they should provide mousekeeping, then at least it would be worth it for me to let them in.

This was a FANTASTIC perk, although if memory serves it was not just for DVC.

A couple of the largest things here have been mentioned… package delivery, and luggage check.
I may have missed it, but valet parking was a biggie for DVC as well.

Yes I know it was a perk for everyone, but I wish they would bring it back as a special perk for DVC members. Maybe in the lobbies of just DVC, so its not seen by everyone, just a small luxury.

On a practical note, I doubt we'll see daily room checks discontinued. For one thing, they are most likely REQUIRED by the liability insurance for all resorts, foloowing the Las Vegas shooting, remember one of the key points in the lawsuit against the hotel was that housekeeping should have reported the high power weaponry in the roomand people should not be able to refuse to allow hotel staff to enter. A positive side of that, is that people CAN have unexpected helth issues, like heart attacks or strokes. so if they enter a room and find someone in distress it could save their lives. Disney uses the door key codes to verify that the daily room check has been performed, and I'm sure they keep those logs in case of an issue or insurance check.

I really miss package delivery, too. But it is not at all financially practical to bring it back ONLY for DVC members. The staff required for checking each kiosk oin a regular basis, and then sorting them and delivering them to the various resorts isn't a cheap option if only instituted for DVC Members, unless you are willing to pay additional fees, like a higher tier of MMB.

They would bring your luggage to the airport??

I find all the 'perks' conversation interesting. It ranges anywhere from things that are "Club 33" level to things that should be available to all guests! Since it's a timeshare, we're good with the meal/merch discounts, and the ability to buy Sorcerer Pass. We don't need too much more to add to the dues........

They are checking that you don't have g*ns or other suspicious materials in your room that could endanger others. The room check practice started after the Las Vegas sniper incident, I believe.
That seems to be the case. And for a quick 2-minute check in the room, or at least the threat of a quick 2-minute check in the room - I'm good with it if it deters anything bad. If something did happen, then people would be wondering why they stopped the checks and allowed it to happen....... The rooms are Disney's and we're basically renting them for the day or week. If they want to check, then they should check.

Actually, you didn't have to be using Magic Express. Most people seemed to think you did, but I read that, according to Disney, you didn't. So we tried it when we rented a car, and it worked just as well. It was kind of like a "remote check-in".
That's right. We never used ME, but did check our bags at the resort a couple times for our flight home - at one time. That seems like many years ago now! There were trips that was really nice to get the bags out of the way before even getting to the airport!

I would be grateful for advanced RunDisney race registration if you already have a DVC booking in place for the relevant dates. I don't think this benefit will ever return, but it would be nice.
Even if it were a 1-2 hour window right before general registration opens would be great.

It would be nice for DVC to get to book before Silver on DCL opening days. I was on hold for almost 3 hours last time. I can't wait to get to Gold lol.

Either front of park or resort delivery for purchases. Like many others, we are also in the "I'm not carrying that all day" camp.

Luggage pickup at the airport and delivery to the resort. I really miss being able to go directly to a park. Even if we have to transport ourselves and they just get our bags, I loved that.

Ticket discounts will always get my attention.

Yes, you could check your luggage for your flight and get your boarding passes right at bell services. And never see it again until you arrived at your destination airport. (Tipping expected, like you'd tip a skycap) BAGS, the company that provided the service fell on hard times during the pandemic, but it looks like they are operating again. I hope Disney will do another contract with them, but I won't hold my breath.

I don't think front of park delivery is too much to ask

Oh so you could still arrange it at BAGS , but at a charge? I know a lot of people were upset when they discontinued the Magical Express service 😪
