What park would you visit on your birthday?

Hi all,
I have the incredible fortune of getting to spend my birthday at WDW with my family. Since we're newbie AP holders and we'll be in the midst of an extended stay at the parks, the day is really up to me. If you could pick one day to enjoy Disney on your birthday, which park would you choose? I'm torn between enjoying a margarita/Rosa Regale in Epcot strolling World Showcase or sharing my son/husband's joy in Pirates, Haunted Mansion etc while enjoying a Dole whip.....

Better yet, which park(s) would you choose, and what food would you eat?

This is a hard question because it is subjective.

For me, personally, I'd pick Epcot. I love Magic Kingdom, but Epcot is by far my favourite. I'd probably eat lunch at a QS somewhere, stop for ice cream at the French ice cream parlor, and have dinner at Garden Grill or Rose and Crown.

I'm actually checking in on my birthday! I had thought if we were up to going into a park, it would be HS if the Star Wars fireworks are happening that night. I can't imagine a better way of celebrating than treating myself to the dessert party and geeking out. Otherwise, MK will be crazy (Saturday crowds plus Oct 1st is the anniversary) and Epcot will be crazy (F&W). I've never been to AK but I'd rather dedicate a morning to that.

Hoppers are your friend. For my birthday (short, 3 day trip), I chose Epcot because that's just how the EMHs fell for us to have optimal park time all weekend, but I think we still hopped over to MK for a little bit. A treat from Les Halles in France was all I wanted on my bday. Mom chose MK on her birthday so she could ride IASW and didn't care what we ate. My father chose to start his day with a pre-opening ADR in Crystal Palace at MK and finish out watching Fantasmic! at HS. If you have hoppers, have the dole whip in the afternoon and finish with a nice drink and stroll at World Showcase in the evening.

The Magic Kingdom has always been my favorite park and I'd choose it for my birthday celebration :-)
I haven't done many TS meals there but I really enjoyed Tony's and would definitely go back. In general my favorite TS is Ohana's so I'd consider making a later ADR after Wishes and taking the monorail to the Poly for my favorite meal :D

Either way, enjoy and :bday:

You have an AP - why not do both? Hit MK early and enjoy your favorite attractions, then head to Epcot for a late lunch and some refreshing beverages! After Illuminations, head over to Boardwalk Bakery for a birthday treat to top off the day.

I would do both because you have AP's. Hit Epcot first for Lunch and Some beverages and then go to MK for the evening celebrations and rides your son loves.

Another vote for both! MK has some of the best rides, but IMO Illuminations is the best fireworks show! You could do MK first then hop over to Epcot for some delicious sorbet in France or a frozen margarita in Mexico and watch Illuminations:)

First I would have a Mickey waffle for breakfast! Then I would try and make it a 4 park kind of day. There is at least one ride in each park that I love. While at MK I would get a cake in a cup at Cheshire cafe. Other than that I don't really care about the food....just fuel me to keep me going :). If I had to limit it to 2 parks, it would be HS and MK. If I had to limit it to 1 park MK.

I'm also celebrating my birthday in WDW on our upcoming trip. We'll be spending the day in Epcot, my favorite park, and have reservations at R&C for Illuminations.

I'm spending my birthday at the Magic Kingdom this year and then having dinner at Narccosees... Wishes is my favorite fireworks show (behind world of color at DLR) so I just had to spend my night watching it!

But I also agree that Epcot would be my second choice!

MK no question. One year it was my birthday I was so dissapointed we got to Main Street my fav place in the world and it poured down with rain. Then imagine my surprise and delight wheh my wife said look love, stopped my wheelchair by the store and along came the 'rainy day parade' CM in boots and rain coats , twirling umbrellas to a special tune. Made my day!

Enjoy your birthday. I also scored a lunch BOG which is a delight. There was none 180 days out but I tried in the morning and one was there! Keep trying! Have a great birthday.

Epcot - I've missed my birthday by a week - either way on different trips.

We are going in May and will be celebrating on my birthday at Epcot...dinner at Via Napoli...dessert wherever I want!

I'll be there on my birthday and we're thinking of hitting all 4 parks and beaches and cream. I've never attempted more than 2 parks in a day before.

Ill be there for my 30th birthday. I am doing a birthday photoshoot at boardwalk. Going to MK so i can meet talking mickey because I haven't yet. and having dinner at the cali grill for the 1st time

We were there for my birthday this year. And BFF had her birthday on the trip too......we always do some kind of Jan. birthday trip.
Anyway, she chose MK for her day and I chose AK.
We had dinner at BoG for hers and brunch at Tusker House and then moved to DHS for dinner at Minnie's Seasonal Dine for mine.
It was a lot of fun!

Arrival day is my 40th birthday this year. We're going to Epcot
