I really don't want to go to MK May 5, but it's the only time they're showing Spectro during my stay. Where will you be May 5 if you're going to the world?

I live 10 minutes from WDW and I will be at MK on May 5th. I wouldn't miss it. It is going to be packed, but it will be neat to see what they do for the kickoff.

We are arriving in Florida at noon on the 5th and will be heading over to MK asap! Can't wait, but I am a bit nervous about the crowds since we have only experienced Nov. and early Dec. crowds. If it gets too bad we will just head over to DTD and do our shopping time then.

How bad can it be?

:crowded:

:cloud9:

We'll most likely do Epcot until they kick us out at 3. Then maybe we'll head back to the pool....

Our 1st day at WDW is Wed, 5/4. We're going to MK that day.

We're going to Epcot Thur, 5/5. However, the park closes at 3:00 that day. So we plan on spending some time at Epcot that morning & then head back to the MK for the evening.

We were thinking about checking out the festivities in the MK. Perhaps we will go in the early part of the day.

In the afternoon, my sister and I will be taking in a nice pedicure at the GFS! Ahhhhhh . . .

Another group to clog up the Magic Kingdom here!

Worfthedog,

I noticed in your sig you love the Tiki Room. My DD5 is so excited about going there. She can't wait. I think she might be more excited about that than just about anything else this trip. :flower:

Shucks, darn!! I'll be at my town square park watching the grandkids swing and wishing we were all with you.

None of the Parks!!!!! (Ohhh the blasphemy!!!! LOL!!!!)

This is our kind of first/once in a lifetime trip to take Ds to the Magic Kingdom. So, that being the case, I decided that we really need to go enjoy the Park on a less crowded/hectic day!!!! We hate big crowds... And I think there will be only one word for MK on the 5th.... Madhouse!!!

We will be at MK on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the 5th will be our 'break'. DH and I are deciding if we should make some special plans with arrangements for child-care for DS on the 5th. We may end up enjoying supper at the Grand Floridian, and watching Wishes from their grounds, across the lagoon.

Umbluegray, there is something very silly about the Tiki Room (so even though I'm 35 I end up feeling 5 again!)

I know what you mean Wishing on a star, I'm not too good with crowds (I can give Grumpy a pretty good run for his money) but I'll just have to remember to smile politely while being trampled on!

Paul.

We figured that with Epcot closed, all the parks will be busy that evening. We'll be at Typhoon Lagoon for the first half of the day, then we'll be braving the MK crowds to watch Spectro. We have 2 full days at MK planned earlier in the week, so we won't have to worry about getting on any rides. Hopefully we'll be able to grab a decent spot for Spectro if we get there early enough.

Plan to go to Blizzard Beach and head over to AK for EMH. Have PS at Ohana's for 9:00 p.m. and will try to fit in some mini-golf. We're not too good at sticking to an itinerary, so anything can happen! See you all there!!!!

Breakfast at CP at 8 a.m. then we'll see how the crowd gets to be. We're staying late on the 4th and I know there is another Spectro to see later in the week.

The countdown continues :hourglass :Pinkbounc

16 days until we're in the world :thewave:

Happy Dance :dancer: :disrocks:

Been There, Done That, Going Back. YAHOOO!!!!! :jumping1:
