what others rave about and you just dont get it

I also thought that the keys to the kingdom tour was just ok, and what is all the excitement over the utilidoors (sp).

The family magic tour was fantastic though, very involved.

I get...
that everybody is different

I don't get...
that everybody doesn't get that everybody else doesn't have to like what they like.

No, but it is new and will be all the hype for a while. It is a cult, as somebody else mentioned.... there was the "I gotta get Le Cellier" cult and now there is one for Be Our Guest. :)

Go at night. Last time we were there we encountered living statues, bands/combos/lone guitar players, a major hula hoop contest and an awesome guy who played a didgeridoo! :thumbsup2 Not sure you can get more bohemian than that!

That's exactly what I was expecting! I did not go at night so perhaps that is why it felt like an outdoor mall.

This whole thread is an example of one man's trash is another man's treasure. Proof that Disney has something for everyone. For every post I agree with, there is one I would "argue."

I love 3:30 ADRs, they are my favorite time. We have a granola bar or portable breakfast item very early so we get to the park of the day at RD. Then we break for a CS breakfast or substantial snack around 10:00-10:30. We are ready for a big sit down meal right around 3:00-3:30.
And I love the DP, saves me money every time (so far).

Agreed! I like eating at off times so its not crowded... This applies mostly if if without an ADR and doing cs

Whispering Canyon Cafe - We knew it would be loud but didnt know it would be that annoying.

Chef Mickey's - Character interaction felt rushed. Mickey was in such a hurry forgot the "y" in his signature.

Walking into Magic Kingdom and seeing the castle for the first time thinking wow its not as big as it looks on tv!

Oh I see. I assume there is a 'Le Cellier' & 'BOG' marathon weekend lol. I must admit when they previewed us FantasyLand when we were there last October I loved the Rose you took back to the table that the servers used to identify you and me and DW said oh yes we get that sounds fun and the restaurant was beautiful. But I still would not wait in line for hours for it. I am a whimp! I admire people that do though like those that camp in tents outside a film premiere etc. shows passion.

I did wait in line for the new Star Wars film Phantom menace when it was released back in 1999. Ok so I was disappointed by the film being a hard core Star Wars fan but what a rush lining up with other Star Wars film fans such an experience in itself! I am Disabled now so thats out.... :-) maybe I am just jealous lol.

I love diversity and I love that Disney offers us that so next time I am wheeling through and see people lining up for BOG I will think good for you! You dine what time you like when you like thats why we all come here. We love Disney! You offer so much to so many. Omg what did I have for breakfast? What am I running for Prime Minster lol.

I don't like the Poly.
Yes, it is nice and has spacious rooms, but I don't get it.

When I saw it first back in 2008, I thought there is a construction on the roof (those wooden poles on one building).

I don't want to stay there, but it's a matter of taste.

And I don't like Pin Trading.

The Poly was really hard to get around from a disability point of view! Outside it was sort of cobbled on the ground and as I have a rollator to help me walk I thought I was on space mountain without a fast pass lol. A right bone shaker!

I love this thread! I am trying to think of something.........
- Caribbean beach ....I hated it! We paid extra for a pirate room & had to walk a mile to eat.....Granted I knew it would be a long walk but it was ridiculous

We stayed CL at Poly and while it was awesome we didn't love the resort.

Dole whips! I can't stand that pineapple soft serve. What I do like is a vanilla dole whip float. Yummm it's vanilla soft serve with fresh pineapple juice.

Fantasmic! It's just ok. Not BAD but we don't need to do it every trip.

LeCellier cheddar cheese soup. Holy Salt Lick Batman! Way too salty and bacony for my taste. Yes I know, "too bacony" isn't possible, well for me it is lol.

Polynesian - We stayed there in 1996 after a friend raved about it and we didn't like it. It seemed dark and musty. I prefer something more bright like GF or BC or BW.
