I am attempting to advise my friend on the best order in which to do attractions on Wednesday, October 4th.
It is her children's first visit to Disneyland.
I know that conventional wisdom says that you should do Fantasyland first for the shortest lines but her boys are 11 and 14 so they are not very excited about those rides but can't wait to do Star Tours, Space Mountain, Autopia, BLAB, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain etc.
She is going to begin in Tomorrowland and then move on to Fantasyland.
I want to advise her but am stuck by a few things.
Using fastpass: I have gone to Disneyland on slower days and found that some fastpass machines are not even in operation.
How do they decide this and how do you know this in advance?
If they wait to do Splash Mountain at about 2:00 pm in the afternoon, should the wait be that long?
