What ONE thing would YOU change about WDW?

This immediately brought back images of my last trip to the NC Zoo in Asheboro 3 months ago. A guy was changing his son's diaper, He just pushed the plates and cups aside, layed the naked 2 year old across the table, and proceeded to change his stinky diaper. .  :scared: :scared: :scared:

That makes me want to throw up.:scared:

I would have a greater variety of options for families of 5 and 6. Right now the options are pretty limited.

I love the idea of a Toy Story or POTC character meal.

Also, I'd make the smoking policy and designated areas more obvious. My son was almost burned in the face when the man in front of him on Main Street flicked his cigarette backwards  I know the vast majority of smokers are thoughtful enough to seek this info out on their own, but for the few bad apples, they need it clearly spelled out for them.

I'd put much more strict enforcement on stopping in the middle of the rows such as Philharmagic. They would be escorted out.

I'm sorry-- we haven't been to WDW in 19 years. What do you mean?

I think one of the best shows at WDW, for sure put it on your 'to do list' your 3 little angels will love it! people stop in the middle (it's a 3D show) to get 'the best spot'. People then have to crawl over them to get to another seat. The CMs will come in & tell everyone to 'move down to make room'. If people just went all the way down to begin w/ it perhaps would take less time to move things along.

A little more to it than that too... Most of the time the ones who do that are the same people who pushed and squeezed their way closest to the doors. The secret to Philharmagic (seen it dozens of times... one of my favorite shows) is to WAIT!!! and be one of the last ones in. You then just find a seat where you want without getting trampled by those trying to steal the middle seats.
Even if we're among the first into the que room, we always pull off to the side away from everyone else and let them all rush in. Theres almost always a good row somewhere near the middle with a middle seat (preferred seating location). The best place in my opinion is dead center of the room. If your one of the last in the room, thats exactly where you may end up anyways, and you dont get your feet trampled.:thumbsup2

Actually, I'm kind of hoping to be near an aisle; my 5 year old is afraid of loud noises and there's the possiblity that one of us will have to take her out. We're on the dinner package, so I'm sure whatever seats we get will be fine-- we're pretty low maintenance.

Thanks for the explanation.

Flame suit on, but this is what I'd change:
1. Ban strollers on the buses.
2. Eject line-cutters from park. No exceptions. Even when someone says "I'm saving a place for my wife who's taking our daughter to the restroom." If you have to get out of line, then you go to the back of the line and start over. Period.
Just my opinion.
I suspect that this thread is gonna get ugly. :duck:

I don't know how it could be enforced, but I would make it a MICKEY LAW that if one person in your party gets in line for a ride you and your other 7 family members are not allowed to cut the line to "catch up" with them..you either go to the rear of the line or not get in line until you can all be together..I think that is SO RUDE!!!!!

Also the PRICES!!!!!

I just got back from Epcot. I was there last week. It was the most crowded I've ever been to DW, and I was SHOCKED at the line cutting. It was horrible. "My wife is up there." "My friends are up there". "I just went to the rest room". "She was saving me a place."

Whatever. :headache: :headache: :headache:

While I'm against line cutting, sometimes little bladders just can't hold it for a really long line! If it's 15 minutes, sure pee first and then head for the attraction. But if you're halfway though a 90 minute line and your 4 year old has to go, should you really have to get in the back of the line again, especially if you can sneak out and back in without pushing past people? JMHO.

My #1 change would be SELL DRINKS in the long lines! I can't tell you how many times we've been in a long hot line and would love to have a cart close enough that could sell us an ice cold diet coke. :thumbsup2

More shady/rest spots in MK. Last year, we went were surprised at how few shady places there were. Even kiddie places like Pooh's playful spot were almost in full sun.

We are a family of 6. I would love it if more hotels would accomodate us with one bigger room instead of having to get two rooms. Make more hotel rooms that accommodate bigger families and don't cost an absolute fortune!

Expand the monorail! It would be great if it went to all four parks, BB, DTD, more resorts...I love riding that thing!

I have to agree with you on the bathroom issue. Especially with young kids that might be newly potty trained. I remember a trip to wal-mart just after DD#1 started potty training. I asked her like 15 times when we were in the store if she had to use the bathroom and she said no every time. As soon as I get her buckled into her car seat she says "mom I have to pee" so back into the store we had to go :headache:

I am suprised that they don't sell drinks in the lines. I live close to a fairly large amusement park and they sell drinks and snacks in a few of their longer roller coaster lines. Of course that brings us back to the bathroom issue ;)
