What off propety resort/hotel would you recommend?

Thinking of staying off Disney property, but not sure what is good and what to avoid. We are not looking at renting pts, buying off ebay or anything of the sorts. Therefore, it doesn't need to be a condo type place. Thanks for your help!

I think it would be helpful to know what kinds of amenities you are looking for, how many are in your party, your budget.

We're a party of 4,(ds 6 and dd 3) and trying to do things cheaper this year. We've stayed at all levels of Disney resort and really like them all. Our problem w/ the value resorts is room size. We need a decent size room that's clean and has a good pool for kids. When needing a room for a night or 2 we tend to stay at Hilton Garden Inn's and Hyatt Place (just for reference). It's been so long since we've not stayed on property and at that time we stayed at one of the Red Roofs for really cheap. We would like something nicer than that. We'll be going this summer. We're thinking of maybe doing the kids free at a moderate, but was wanting to go later in summer.

How about Buena Vista Suites? That will give you a two room suite and also includes free breakfast buffet.
