It's the planning that's so much fun, not the plan itself.
I've usually gotten it about right, but on our last trip I overplanned. I had to loosen up when it became obvious things weren't going to happen exactly as I had imagined them.
Next time, I'm planning for less bouncing around among parks and resorts and few or no full service meals at lunch. I'll still arrange most priority seatings for dinner way in advance and plan where to go in half day blocks.
