What % do you feel are male/female? I have heard a few times on this board how some users just presume everyone is female. Other than myself, the only other user I am sure is male is Papa Deuce.

I know of a few other fellows on here:lmao: but I do admit I just always think Im talking to another female disser. I think it comes from belonging to other moms boards in the past and just thinking its that way here. I have been paying more attention to make sure I get everyone sex right when I post.;)

Sorry, I forgot to answer your ?...% wise, I would say maybe 30 to 70 or 40 to 60, the lowest being male.

Well, I don't know but as far as my family goes, all males....DH, DS' 27&24yo would never ever be on a message board of any kind. Facebook, yes, but message boards, nope. So I am guessing that majority of those posting here on the DIS are females. I am not saying males on a message board is odd, just that I can speak for my three.

I think there is a good percentage of male Disers (based on my obeservations on the Theme Parks forum)

I will admit that I usually assume most of the posters on the Budget and Family boards are female. I know there are males, but unless it's obvious in the name or information I think they're mostly female. :upsidedow

Grumpy Pirate is not gonna be a happy pirate if you guys think he's a woman.

I imagine that it's about 60/40 female in the Community area, but probably 50/50 overall.

It would be helpful if it specified m or f in the screen name section on the left somewhere.

There is a poster whom I have long thought was male, who recently posted something that made me realize she was really female! :scared1: oops!

Funny, now that I think of it, I don't know why I thought she was male. I guess it's the writing style, it just seemed more male to me, but what is male/female writing style, really? I guess I do tend to assume most are women, I don't know why.

I would also think most people would realize I'm female, with my username!

Other guys, well there's Firedancer, shrubber, and the guy who signs his name Mikeeeeee -- can't remember his user name. I can think of lots of other guys who used to post, but mostly stopped after politics and religion were banned.

:rotfl: Honestly, I thought it was a her....sorry GP:flower3:

Boy, you'd better send him some rum. ;)

Before the DIS I was mostly on budgeting & coupon message boards. Almost all of them were women, so I think that mentality transferred over to here. I'd say 90% of DISers are female. :scratchin

I'm thinking it's more like 75-80% female here. I have been mistaken for a woman many times. Must be my lovely long lashes.;)

It's gets so confusing with posters that have names like "Granny", that are actually men.

I would say it's about 30/70 male/female

I would presume that the Disboards are about a 70-30 or 60-40 split, with women predominating. AFAIK, no one has said that they don't think of me as a guy, but my username is a pretty good hint.

Some boards I am on are a 50/50 split, and on others, I am so far in the minority that, were I to admit possession of a Y chromosome, I would be driven off the site entirely.

I know that Galahad and Geoff M are guys.

Oh, and Dan Murphy. He's a guy. ::yes::

Sorry, I would have thought you were a woman, too! :flower3: For me it's your username. I'm Italian, so names than end in A are female, O are male to me! ;)

Really? I haven't noticed that yet. I'd assume they were women, too. Is that what they're going for? :confused3

I'd say 80/20, predominantly women, demographic wise 25-54yo females. Perfect demographic for Disney.
