Hi I'm Caleb's mom and I'm addicted to the television show "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery Channel. (Wow, I feel better already.) During the hour long show the host visits and does 3 different dirty jobs - sewer inspector, grease trap cleaner - you get the idea. My family knows not bother me Tuesday nights at 8.

I also like American Chopper and I could care less what the "Desperate Housewives" are up to.

The fact that I like (or dislike) these shows probably wouldn't be at all odd except I'm a married mommy in my mid 30's with an office job - I probably don't fit the network's demographic!

Just curious what TV shows do you enjoy that just doesn't fit your personality? Or what 'odd' TV show do you enjoy???

I LOVE this show too! Mike the host cracks me up! I also like that new show out My Name is Earl! It's hilarious!

I am addicted to House Hunters!

I have about 15 of them right now on my Tivo, I can't get sick of it!!!

Dirty Jobs is a really fun show! I'm with ya on that one.

I got addicted to "Blow Out" for a short time. Don't know if that's still on.

 I too am a mom in my mid-30's...love Dirty Jobs, and happen to think that Mike Rowe is TOTALLY hot~!!!! :earboy2:

Also a fan of American Chopper-my husband saw Paul Sr. on the street in Key West 2 years ago, and got to shake his hand-I have a pic of them together. He drove up to the corner where my husband was standing and stopped his bike. Within about a minute, the whole street was clogged with fans. I was shopping in Margaritaville, and my husband came running in like a crazy man, saying, "Paul Sr is here!" It was cool.

I also love the show House on Fox-and think Hugh Laurie (Dr. House) is TOTALLY hot, as well.

Mark me down for a cheesey sitcom too - Three's Company. Cant go to bed, until Ive watched an episode Ive prolly seen 3 million times.... I can do the dialogue right along with them - it's sick. :confused3

Current shows on TV: House Hunters and Vacation Home Search
Old shows: Mr. Ed and I Love Lucy

i was mildly obsessed with Fat Actress when it came out on DVD. Also I love kids programming - I'll admit to watching The Wiggles, even though I haven't fit into their demographic for about 2 decades! Also I love, LOVE Spongebob Squarepants. :teeth:

i like dirty jobs and mythbusters also.

i forgot to add i own 2 seasons of golden girls on dvd and i love them. haha.

I love My Name is Earl

Other shows:

I think it's called Deadliest Catch? It's the Discovery Channel show that followed the crab fisherman for a season. Fascinating stuff!!

I know, it's like their made for each other.

I love Ghost Hunters on SciFi. I also like to watch Most Haunted on Travel Channel. It's not scary, but it's really funny. They all look like raccoons because of the nightshot. They usually end up scaring each other - "Something touched me!" "Sorry, that was me." :teeth:

I also like to watch Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. :)

I like late night PBS. They have some of the most random stuff, but it's really fascinating to watch.

I caught a show about all the scenic train tours in New England. Beautiful!

The other night they had a documentary following this cowboy/farmer in South Dakota from 1980 to 2005. It was fascinating, I couldn't turn it off. Even my husband stayed up to watch it.

Also their concerts such as Sarah Brightman and Celtic Woman.

I also love Degrassi The Next Generation. :cheer2:

I've also discovered that I have DiscoveryTime Channel. I've been home sick this week and I watched "The Secret Life of Geishas" - and I liked it.

I was telling DH all about it....he wasn't as enthralled.

I can't get enough of Punk'd !!! Even tho I hate MTV and everything else on it, I just love PUNK'D. It's just hysterical!
