What 'odd' TV show do you enjoy?

Dirtiest Jobs and Deadliest Catch....LOVE Mike Rowe's voice.

Anyone know if they'll do another Deadliest Catch?

Jeff Corwin & American Chopper

Miami Ink and Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Myst

OK it's not like I schedule around or tivo this one...
but I've actually watched a couple of episodes (start to finish) of Airline.
:guilty:
I actually made my DD walk around all the SW gates with me when we flew out of LAX the other day to see if I recognized anyone from the show since they tape there quite often.
:teeth:
Pathetic I know - but what else are you gonna do when your flight is delayed over an hour?!

I've never seen CSI, Lost, Alias or any other popular show.

I like the weird stuff:

Breaking Bonaduce
America's Next Top Model
Talk Soup (now The Soup, I think)
Dog, The Bounty Hunter
Airline
Iron Chef America
Mythbusters
Sell This House

I LOVE the show Over There on FX. Nobody will ever watch it with me because everyone in my family HATES it except my DS. He will watch it with me if he is home and then he tells me Iraq stories.

Other odd shows I love are:

Family Plots
Filthy Rich Cattle Drive
Flip this House (Property Ladder)
Talk Soup

On the end of the last season they had said that they were changing the way the crab season is handled. It is not going to be "race and try to get as many as you can before we end the season" but "you can catch X tons this year"

I don't think the new format would make as good a program.

Okay, here's my list:

Inked (love Thomas & Cary, they're such cuties - don't tell my DH)
Family Plots
Family Guy
American Dad

Thanks! I forgot that I had heard they were going to change the regulations, maybe it will be safer now.

The first thing I thought of was Dirty Jobs. I love that show. I also enjoy Myth Busters, Seconds from Disaster and Untold Stories from the ER.

I love Airline ! Every time I watch it I tell my husband I am going to go find a job at the airport :goodvibes . He thinks I'm crazy.
I also watch Dog the Bounty Hunter. Now that show my husband likes . He always says that he wants to quit teaching and become a bounty hunter after he watches an episode. :rotfl:

Hi I'm Caleb's mom and I'm addicted to the television show "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery Channel. (Wow, I feel better already.) During the hour long show the host visits and does 3 different dirty jobs - sewer inspector, grease trap cleaner - you get the idea. QUOTE]

Too funny. I just found this show last week and realized that I went to college with the host, Mike Rowe!

The Waltonss! DD just bought me home the first season on DVD! :cool1:

Here are a few of my guilty pleasure tv shows - I love the History Detectives on PBS - it is so interesting.
I like Family Guy, but I have no idea why - I think it might be for the shear shock of it.
There was this show on last winter, can't even remember what channel, but it involved this racetrack somewhere in Florida - an obviously less developed area - anyway, the point of the show was that the track people would tell the racers the theme for the week - and they had a week and a certain amount of money to get their "entry" ready to race - example, one week they had to race with appliances strapped to the top of the car, one week they had to race while towing a boat, one week it was racing RV's, one week they had a two person team thing where the driver had to have his/her head covered with a bag and the passenger had to guide them. It is the most hysterical thing I have ever seen. Very strange stuff. We tried to explain it to people and they thought we were bonkers.

And oh, my Lord, Ms Disney, I had no idea the Waltons was out on DVD - I will have to secretly get it and watch it during the day when DD is at school and DH at work. Hee-Hee!

The following are a few of my "odd" tv favorites:

I've watched Family Plots - Loved it!

Airline - Love it!

Bridezillas - Love it!

House Hunters - Love it!

Unwrapped - Love it!

Pimp My Ride - Love it!

Mickey&Co

I like Pimp My Ride. Never mind the fact that I am way past the MTV demographic!

Nip/Tuck is slightly odd as well. I like that also.

I forgot Unwrapped on the Food Channel--yes, the factory behind the scenes stuff.

And Iron Chef America.. my DH thinks I"m nuts!
