what not to wear

They pick out cute clothes, but I could find nearly the same thing for maybe $100 altogether.
I'm wondering how many outfits they have after they get done and how much they use of their own money to spend when they get home.
Stacey and Clinton can be funny but I do think they go overboard a lot.

OMG finally a what not to wear thread!!!!! I love that show!!! Stacy and Clinton are trying to help and nnot to be mean but ussually what they say is funny. And Nick Arojo is a total goof! Any one else think so? Ok I know I'm sounding a little mean here, but hey- It's only a tv show and It would be boring without this stuff. And not to sound mean but... Has anyone else noticed Carmindee has so much plastic surgery that her eybrows don't move... Anyways, I know what you guys are saying, but I agree with Sara (MickeyisBeast). They prob buy comfy clothes either after the show, or they buy some but they just don't show it on tv. But you guys are so right! They make it seem like these moms that are getting all dressed up to go to Target or pick up their kids from school from what it looks like! It's ridiculous!

They wouldn't of already had it though... they would buy comfy things that make them LOOK GOOD. Before they had comfy things that made them look BAD. Do you get what I'm trying to say? It's kinda hard to explain, but I totally see where you're coming from.

It's kind of like on weight loss shows, and they throw out all the food in your cupboard. Someoney BOUGHT THAT and regardless of whether it's healthy or not you shouldn't be throwing it out.

Ya but Stacy and Clinton are GIVING THEM $5,000. probably about the $ they spent on the other clothes they tossed. And they probably give the clothes that are in good shape to like good will or something. But with the weight shows I know what you mean and your right and make a great point. But on WNTW they give them $.

I do hope you know that they don't throw the clothes away when they're going through the person closets. The person ALWAYS keeps those clothes and can chose to give it to charity or keep them for other uses. I saw that on a special episode a while back.

I love the show. The way alot of the people dress should be illegal.
a few things i thought i point out though
The people who go on the show could have turned it down.
They could just be acting "rude" for the camara alot of things go on that we don't see
Its not like they are spending there own money and its a free trip to new york.
There is episodes where people admit that they dress badly
and they have let people keep stuff that is important to them.
They all look so pretty after words.

The last episode I watched was of the DISer.

People tend to be judgemental about the appearance of others and are afraid of things they don't understand. I have seen people wear different kinds of clothing; whether it be a suit that covers everything except the eyes.

And the show is called "What not to Wear", being that Stacey and Clinton seem to know a lot about fashion and they believe they can determine what is "in" and what is "ugly".
