"What Not To Wear" - Show is on again May 29

OMG, how embarrassing. I would probably die on the spot. How exciting too! Enjoy! Just think of all the new Disney stuff you can buy! :teeth:

That is too cool! I love that show! I am always telling my DH to nominate me, but when it came right down to it, I would be sooo embarresed!!!

What an opportunity! I would LOVE to go in that show, if only to get a fantastic hair session:cloud9:

be open to everything. Let them cut, color, pluck, dress, etc.

You are so very lucky:thumbsup2

That is so exciting! I love that show!

You know, there is a World of Disney store in NY.....;)

I hope you have a wonderful time. Please let us know when your show airs so that we can all watch. Congratulations!

OMG!! :rotfl: You should TOTALLY go in there when you're on your shopping trip JUST to get a rise out of S&C!

Seriously, I love the show and am so excited for you. You will get fabulous clothing out of it. And no one says you can't go right out after you get home and replenish your Disney collection - they can't expect you to go to WDW afterwards in tweed pants and a cashmere caridgan!

Have fun!!!!

This is great, however I wouldn't want to lose that bag. It's great. And they don't like your crocs? :confused3 I thought that crocs rock! LOL Can you imagine what they would have said if you owned them in lime green. :scared1: Well keep us posted, this sounds exciting.

How awesome! My friend and I applied to be on "A Makeover Story" when that show was still on, but they never got back to us. I think we were too big of a project for them to take on.

Please keep us updated!

Another fan of the show! Oh, and I think you should schedule anther trip to Disney after you get get back from NYC to replace all the things S& C will surely toss. :rolleyes1

Sounds absolutely fabulous - what a great adventure! I would go on that show in a heartbeat! Please keep us posted.

Congratulations! I'd love to be on that show. If you had refused, I would be ripping that $5000 Visa card right out of your hand & saying, "Take ME!!!"

I have learned so much from that show, like how to pick better pants. No more peg leg, tapered jeans or pants. :p When shopping with my sis, I even pulled out a few pairs of peg leg jeans to show what not to BUY! Unless you're a pirate with a wooden leg, no one should have peg leg jeans. :p

I'm so jealous! I've always wanted to be on that show to get the great fashion advice without all of the embarrassing moments, of course. Be sure to let us know how it went.

Oh, how exciting for you!!! Now you have to post every detail of your experience so we can live vicariously through you. Don't worry about the Disney items, they can be replaced on your next trip. But fight for them anyway, because that makes the show fun to watch! :happytv: Let Nick work his magic with your hair, don't fight him, he works miracles. It never ceases to amaze me how the people with the scraggliest hair are crying the hardest about getting it cut. It's HAIR people!!! It grows.

You can be our Disney representative and explain how crocs and other items are "must haves for touring the parks". Promise not to wear them anywhere else. Good grief, they don't throw out work uniforms or scrubs. I watch this show all the time and really try hard to take their advice, they are really good at what they do. But all of it goes out the window when I go to Disney. I wouldn't be caught dead in Crocs but I know how important comfortable shoes are at Disney and others swear by Crocs. I wear white tennis shoes with shorts, Clinton and Stacy would not like it. But Disney is not the real world.

Oh goodness, I must be excited for you because I'm rambling! Have fun and post all about it when you can. And let us know when your show airs!

What's wrong with the Alice bag? I have a Marilyn Monroe one... :confused3

Stacy and Clinton would have one heck of a fight on their hands if I was on the show. I have a thing for skulls, guitars, and music. Almost all of my t-shirts - aside from being men's shirts - have a skull, a guitar, or a rock band on them. I'd have to leave 90% of my wardrobe at home to keep them from throwing it out! They'd probably also be horrified that everything is black and denim and flip-flops or Converse Chuck Taylor hi-tops. No skirts or high heels for me!

And I bet they'd insist on losing the purple hair...

I would love to hear more about your experience when you're allowed to talk about it! I'm with everyone else too please let us know when your air date is.

That's so cool! I love What Not to Wear.

I've often considered dressing "badly" just so someone will nominate me.

wow so many comments! thanks for the well-wishes everyone. i am pretty sure my crocs will be toast, but they're easy to replace. i'm more worried about the disney gear. but in the end, it's just clothes, right? ;)
i will check in with updates soon!

You are soooo lucky... I would love to go to NYC and go shopping with someone's else money.:cool1:

So excited for you! You will feel like a new woman with $5000 worth of new clothes, and a new do! As far as them taking all your Disney gear....that is nothing a trip down to WDW won't fix! Hope you have a great time, and am looking forward to seeing a Dis'er on the show!

Awesome!!! Congrats. I would love to be chosen. I'm soooo jealous!!! :thumbsup2 Make sure you keep us posted!!!
