I will be at the World May 18-21 with my best friend, we are celebrating me graduating from nursing school.

Give me some GREAT adult things to do, we are both married with kids and they are all staying home :cool1:

thanks

I think that if you want to go to a park that the Disney Studios would be the best for you. There you have Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, also the car stunt show. I always enjoy going there.

I really liked the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island. What a hoot! Be sure to go into one of the rooms and watch a "show." We saw a female comedian in October (darn, can't remember what her name was, but she was hilarious!).

Also at Pleasure Island is a place where you can get a "water massage". I love getting massages, and wondered if it would be enjoyable, so I tried it. It's hard to describe, but I'll try! You lie on a cushioned bed inside a machine (inside a tube, but with your head hanging out the front), and automated jets of water massage your body. You control the amount of pressure and can also concentrate the jets where you want them (my legs were quite sore from all of the walking I'd been doing, so I concentrated lots of time on my legs). You're fully clothed - the water jets are contained inside a type of plastic covering, so the water never touches you directly. See - I said it was hard to describe! But I found it very relaxing and great for tired muscles - perfect after a long day at the parks. It only costs about $15 for a 15-minute massage. I would definitely recommend it!

Since you said "adult" things, I assume you were refering more to Disney nightlife than parades, muppets, and "Its a small world".

I would definitely check out Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. Its a dueling piano bar and its alot of fun. They play songs that everyone knows and do alot of crowd participation stuff. I always try to go there a few times every trip.

I've never been to the Adventurer's Club, but I hear alot of good things about, you may want to check that out.

There are a alot of really nice restaurants that are more adult oriented. Maybe go out to a nice quiet dinner.

I also like to eat and drink around the world at Epcot. Start in Mexico with a marguerita and work your way around World Showcase, getting something to eat or drink(or both) from every country. Finish at the pub in the United Kingdom.

Hi..guess the kid in me just came out...lots of fun adult things to do...mostly around Westside Disney and lots at Epcot...Also kind of assumed this was first trip to Disney World.

I just won't grow up!!!

LOL. Your advice was great. Well thought-out and informative. I'm sure the OP appreciates the time it took you to put all that together, I'm just not sure if its what they were looking for. I could be completely wrong though... :)

YOu are all AMAZING, LOVE LOVE LOVE the ideas, keep them coming!!!!

The best adult things to do are the ones that make you feel the most like a kid again.

Personally, I love Star Tours and Muppetvision 3D for a nice little vacation from adulthood. Star Wars and the Muppet Show are some of my most treasured childhood memories; nothing makes me happier than flying past Endor or actually seeing a show in the Muppet Theater.

the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational - this is what we call our Muppet SHOW!!!!!!!!!

I love the parks, but for some nice adult time I recommend scheduling some time to relax at your resort and lay by the pool when most people are likely to be at the parks. If you time it right, it is just a perfect environment with few noisy distractions.

Definitely check out Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. It's a dueling pianos bar. I was there in January, had such a blast that I went back 10 nites in a row. All my friends were amazed when I told them I had gone solo to a bar, since I'm a non-drinker and a non-bar type. The staff @ Jellyrolls are so wonderful, they made me feel so welcome. In fact, I'm going back in January to celebrate my 50th birthday w/ all my friends. I can guarantee that you will find my there.
