We are taking our 20month old DD in Jan. We will be going to all the parks. What attractions and rides should we not miss with her? I'm am concern to find out that she is afraid of Santa so now I don't know how she will react to the characters. I will be 7 months pregant at the time so I am sure I will be limited to what rides I can go on. Is it true that the Kilimanjaro Safari is recommended for pregant women?

We are taking our 27 month old dd Jan 17-26, but this will also be our first time with a toddler. We have been showing her three different Disney Sing-a-longs that have the actual characters in them to get her used to the idea of the characters being so big. You may not have time to do that at this point, but if you do, the best one is called Disneyland Fun, and I found it at Toy's R Us just recently. Our DD may still be scared, but theirs not much else I can do about that.

Kilimanjaro Safari's is just a bit bumpy in places, but over all pretty tame.

I wouldn't miss It's a Small World for sure. I think we are going to start with that one as it is probably the tamest. I hear Dumbo is very popular among this age. Snow White is supposed to be very scary for her age. We will most likely skip this one. Other than that, I'm not much help considering we haven't done this with a toddler either.

Have fun whatever you do!

Thank you Stacy for your help. We have been showing her the Disney planning video and she seems to get excited over certain parts. We will be Orlando Jan 19-30, we will be in staying in Disney Jan 26-30.

I hope you have lots of fun too!

If she is a playhouse disney fan, make sure to see the live show at MGM. It is really cute and geared for toddlers Enjoy

All the rides in FantasyLand are appropriate for a toddler(except Teacups). We took our toddler last year(she was 15 months). She rode many of the rides in MK. Jungle Cruise, Alladin's Carpet, Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion, Country Bears Jamboree, Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of progress and all the rides in Fantasyland! :D Our DD just loves The Playhouse Show in MGM!

The HM at Mk can be scary, but POTC is great! My DS @ went on everything twice! But we did skip Snow White.. Unless you know the ride and when to cover their eyes..
Then at Epcot, I have heard to to go on the Boat ride in Norway. As there are large trools that can be scary.. Everything else is fine though

At AK skip the Dinosaur ride. Some say that it is tame, but there are Dino's eating each other. the ITTBAB is not for littles as it is 4D and there are bursts of air and water..

Then MGM ... There really isn't much for them there.. But have a wonderful tiem and go at their pace.. ALso you can skip Fantasmic.. It is scary for little ones. Unles they like the Villans...
