at camp last week evferything was going great, but

on the last day my friend got out a rip stick, he couldn't ride it

I got on to show him how, but forgot we were on a mountain

I had already picked up speed and was too afraid to bail so I rode down to the bottom. I was freaking out because of the tight turns and was surprised I made it.

at the bottom, after over a mile, was a increase in elevation. I thought"yes I can pull out of this"

but then I saw the speed bump

I now have asphalt burns on my right knee left elbow, and in between my ribs and thigh on my left side

fortunately, I know how to take a landing and made sure to lnd on my back, I'm lucky my shirt only took a small tare

I'm lucky I didn't break a bone or crack open my skull

damn, thats gotta hurt. i was on my skateboard a couple years ago and i was goin down my street which is pretty steady decline but there was a hole in the ground i ran over and flew off at a prety solid speed. i hit the street with a pretty nasty gash on my right knee. not too much fun xD

on my back I rhode the ground for 3-6 yards

I mean sorry Josh, I feel your pain ::yes::

it was sooo much fun, like... almost out of body feeling until the bottom, and whats more

I DIDN'T CRY!

At least you're alright!

I would be flipping out screaming "WE'RE GONNA DIE, WE'RE GONNA DIE!"

especially if you were the driver....:rolleyes1

My friend said that after she jumped the jump without her horse xD She was all 'OMG I wanna do that again it was like flying'
Weirdo.

YES! Post pics!
Sorry, that was the medical nerd in me.

I hate burns. I could never work in a burn center, and I can never handle getting burns myself. I'd rather go thru chemo again, I'm that much of a wussy when it comes to burns.
Hope you feel better soon!

the hospital called them asphalt burns, the same kind that motorcycle riders get

OWIE OWIE OWIE! OMG, I bet that stings so bad!

Oooh oooh ooh.....I have sympathy pain!
