Which non-character restaurants should I take my ds3 to while at WDW? Just want to know what others he might enjoy?

My DD (just turned 5) enjoyed Whispering Canyon Cafe, Coral Reef and 50's Prime Time Cafe for non-character table service meals. Have fun!

If your child is not afraid of the semi-dark, the Sci-Fi is a pretty cool restaurant. You get to sit in 50's style cars and watch old sci-fi films while you eat.

Our son always liked (and still does even though he's 11) Toy Story Pizza Planet. There are little green men hanging from the ceiling.

Pinocchio's Village Haus has several tables where you can sit, eat and watch the boats of It's A Small World go by.

Cosmic Ray's has a singing alien in the corner of the restaurant.

Forgot to add the Coral Reef as a table service restaurant. One entire wall is the aquarium and your child would probably enjoy watching the giant turtles, rays and sharks swim by.

Coral Reef with the aquarium is very nice. I agree Sci Fi is also fun, most kids enjoy sitting in a car under the stars to eat their burger! O'Hana for dinner doesnt' have characters but has coconut races and other stuff for kids to participate in and some very nice views of the castle if you get near a window.

If he is in to Dinosaurs, T Rex Cafe in DTD might be a hit as would Rainforest Cafe. Altough they both have darkness, animatronics and at RFC they have these thunderstorms that produce thunder, all of which might be too much depending on your son. I know at 3 my now 14 year old son couldn't have handled that, my daughter would have loved it!

We have been with kids under three a few times...Our kids really did well at Whispering Canyon, 50s Prime Time, ESPN, and Trails End...They loved Sci-Fi!

Thanks for the help. We have done CR before so we want to try something new. I made ADR for 50's and O'hana. I am not sure about dark restaurants like t-rex or sci fi. Rather wait a year or two. Anyone have a good restaurant for AK or Epcot??

Rainforest Cafe at the AK is good for kids but does not take the dining plan...

You also might like the Coral Reef in Epcot...Kids really like looking at the fish.

My DD4 loved 50's Prime Time. She got a hotdog there (one of her favorites), which is not easy to find at other TS restaurants. Ice Cream for dessert with chocolate sauce and sprinkles made her very happy!
