OK, I'll start -

I thought the woman did really well and designed some nice outifts. I'm glad they won, but Elizabeth really does need to go. In a way I feel bad for her, but she is a bit out of control with analyzing every single thing.

Speaking of out of control, I thought Raj was probably the most annoying person I had ever seen last night. He would not leave the designer alone at all. Of course, even if he did leave her alone I don't think her outfits would have looked any better lol, they had some way out there looking stuff.

I think John was wrong to bring Andy in the boardroom, I felt bad for the kid, he doesn't deserve to be picked on b/c he is young and inexperienced. I think he should have brought 3 people - Kevin, Wes and Raj. Trump was right that it wasn't fair to just bring Kevin and not Wes since they were equal on the pricing. I also think if they didn't have to keep yelling at Raj, they would have had more time to decide on price and maybe John would have been involved in that.

My summary - I thought Raj should have been brought into the boardroom and fired last night.

It seems all of the boardrooms people this season were brought in for personal reasons instead of the effect they had on the task... ugh...

I agree, Raj, Wes and Kevin, no doubt, should have been brought in. The fact that John picked who he did was more proof that he has poor judgment and leadership skills.

As for fashion and pricing sense, the women definitely had the edge! The guys were destined to fall on this task!

I missed this last night and only got to see the last 15 minutes of it! I will have to watch it again, I think it is on tonight on CNBC.

I was just wondering why the last 10 minutes in the boardroom sounded dubbed...did anyone else notice that? That when he was talking with the three guys, there were dubbed in sentences that obviously were done after the fact?

I'm not liking App 2 as much as the first. They are all kind of annoying. I think Donald is more into ratings than before. Like firing Bradfod. I'll watch a little longer but I am losing interst. Maybe that's why there is no thread, maybe others are too. I do miss Troy!

I agree that John should have brought Raj in the boardroom and Raj should have been fired last night. If anything, he was a distraction tot eh designer and the team.
I think John was worried because someone (I forget who???) told him that Kevin and Wes had such strong personalities that if he brought both of them into the boardroom together, they would gang up on him. He mad a bad choice for bringing Andy in for no substantial reason. I think that if he had brought Wes, Kevin, and Raj into the boardroom.....Raj would have been fired. In fact, during the boardroom....it was almost like Trump was telling John that Raj was detrimental to the group...and John still didn't bring him in!

I will miss John....he was nice eye candy!

The boardroom has been edited TO DEATH, it was reported that it's actually hours long and we see about 10 mins or less of it. The voiceovers are edited in where it counts.

I also agree with Trump....why does everyone always choose only two people??? I would pick three. You then have better chances of staying.

I totally agree about Raj. What a pain!!! He was totally getting on my nerves last night. And when the men were talking about pricing and they said, make that higher...$410. I said to my husband, what kind of clothes are they trying to sell. I knew they overpriced big time!!

I thought the same exact same thing last night!!!! I even told my husbadn taht I thought some of it was dubbed in later!

I just thought of something else Raj went to the Hill School - it is a private boarding school right down the street from me. Very good and very pricey. Guess who else went there?.........Donald's boys. I'm wondering if Donald knew him from before the show. His son is the same age as Raj. I bet Raj sticks around for a while.

I agree, last year I was excited about a lot of the people. This year there is no one that I am rooting for.

As for the pricing issue, well, I shop at Target and Kohl's lol so I have no clue what prices should be set at for buyers for stores like Saks, Henri Bendel, etc. so if I'm clueless I can imagine the men were even more so. I think they were pricing for what the stores would sell them at.

As for the boardroom, it would be great if they put just the boardrooms on DVD. I would love to hear everything that goes on in there.

What I thought too was that the guys were thinking retail prices, not the prices the buyers were going to pay which are always much lower. Ilsa should have been much more help to them, but she seemed a little preoccupied with the construction of the clothes. I was confused as to why the women had professional seamstresses and the men didn't. The women were smart in picking their designer because he provided them with information in every area from design to selling. The men's designer seemed a little lost. Plus, the men's designs would not appeal to a broad range of people. I don't know any women who wear golf knickers! It just seemed that they were destined to fail on this task. Maybe it was designed that way so they could even out the teams a little.

I do agree that Raj should have been the one to go last night though. Lately it seems like the project manager is the one to take the fall no matter what.

IMO, the men's team picked a really bad designer. Her clothes were a little too "haute couture" for the mass market, I think.

About picking 2 or 3 people to go into the boardroom: there is a good explanation about why picking 3 is not going to increase your odds of not getting fired on one of the Television Without Pity recaps (found here - first paragraph). I agree with the writer's logic. Basically, if Trump were firing people at random, as the project manager you would definitely have a better chance of staying by bringing in the extra person, but since Trump fires whomever screwed up the most (using HIS opinion), your odds don't really change.

Well, I think Mr Trump needs to make up his mind about what is confusing about it...Ivana took in 3 when she was leader, and he got on her for choosing 3, when she could of taken 2, thus putting someone else at risk. That is probably why the girls only take 2 in now. As for the men, this was only their second time in the boardroom, why is Donald asking them why only two get chosen all the time? It was the girls taking in 2 week after week.

Me too!!! I LOVED him:teeth: I knew he wouldn't but I wanted him to win so badly!

I agree with everyone that this season is all about ratings. I think Donald has too much say in the production this year and that's not a good thing. Mark Burnett needs to regain full control. Also, could there be ANY more commercials with Donald in them during the show??

I think the reason the leaders seem to be going is because they keep choosing the "wrong" people (according to Donald) to take into the board room with them. I also noticed that each and every time you hear somebody say (like John did last night, and Pamela the previous week) "I think I'm safe, I'm not really worried." OUT they go!

I miss the first season. I became an adict immediately and wouldn't miss a minute. This season, it doesn't hold my interst as much. I keep watching in hopes that something will change. So far, nope.

But her ragged on Ivana for being indecisive, which was in line with what the other women had already said. She changed from 2 to 3.

I don't really like anyone this year. I do miss Troy. I really liked what he brought to the show last year! Now that the field is getting smaller, perhaps we will see more interaction and be able to really see how they all work together--last night's show was the first one that I felt I actually saw what happened.

Raj was completely annoying last night, and up until them I actually did like him. I thought he had a chance. Perhaps it was a one time thing. I hope he goes back to normal.

As for Elizabeth, did I miss something in previous episodes? Is she always chatty and whiny and distracting? Maybe I just didn't notice it before.

I felt bad for John, but I do think that he should have stayed towork on pricing--I think he just wanted to spend more time with the models. He should have brought in Wes and Kevin and I think that Chris was setting him up (he is the one that said John should only bring in one of them) I think he also told John that he would fire Andy--I could be wrong. But in the boardroom John looked completely surprised (actually, betrayed) when Chris said he would fire John.

Well, next week they change up the teams so we'll see what happens.

At least we got to see Carloyn laughing so hard it brought tears to her eyes! She just couldn't help herself when the guys were trying to pick out fabric!

I also thought that the guys picked the wrong designer. She seemed dour from the get-go. And yeah - what was up with her not getting seamstresses like the girls' designer?
