what nights are formal & semi formal on western?

I have a couple of dining charts that show conflicting info on what night is formal & semi formal on the western. Anybody just get back that can clue me in?? Trying to figure out which menu/ which night & when to do Palo.

The best way to figure this out (it seems to me anyway) is to look at the itinerary. The first full sea day (don't count the day the ship docks in Key West even though that is a partial sea day) is formal night. The second full sea day is semi-formal.

On the Western, the Formal night is Monday (at sea) and the Semi Formal is Thurs (at sea).

I do not believe this has changed recently.

OK, now that I have that down.....is the formal or semi-formal night the captain's gala night? My info says its the semi-formal, but I noticed that for the Eastern it's on the formal night. Does the Western really get the Master Chefs menu for formal night & the Cptn Gala for Semi-formal night???
We are going on our first 7 day (second disney) cruise 2/1/03.....We can't wait!!!!

Cinders28...not sure what info you are looking at but the charts I posted on webshots had the correct info as of last month. I do not think anything has changed. Returning DIS'ers have been telling me when an update was needed and I have not heard of any new updates.

Things do run a bit differently on each itinerary. They are not exactly the same on Eastern and Western. So, yes, on the Eastern Captain's Gala is on Formal night and on the Western, Captain's Gala is on Semi-Formal night. Hope this helps.

mmouse37- Thanks. I was thinking it was odd that you would get the regular restaraunt menu for formal night (seems odd to be at Parrot Cay with the caribbean food in formal attire). I just wondered if it was an error in the chart. Thank you everyone who checked into this. We are trying to do Palo on the night of the Mater Chef menu & wanted to pick the right day. ....I think I'm becomming obsessive!!!

cinders28.....I just check Dave's site also to double check and I believe the charts are correct.
