Hi,

I am visiting FLORIDA with my DH and DS's 5 & 7 for 3 weeks!!!

I have planned which parks on what days. I have made our ADR's. I have done our ETSA's. I have pre-booked our seats on the plane. I have made a packing list - is it too early to start packing? :goodvibes lol.

What else do I need to do?

I can't wait - I am so excited:banana::banana:

i like to make a list of all the important numbers - so that i have it at my fingertips (plus there is a copy in my computer, email).

what i include on my 'cheat sheet':

--cell phone number (of phone i use in the states)
--any important phone numbers (e.g. of my travel agent at home, of airline, etc etc)
--our frequent flyer numbers
--passport numbers
--eticket numbers of our flight ticket
--our itinerary (with flight numbers, schedule etc)
--name, address and phone numbers of hotels where we will stay
--a complete list of ADRs plus confirmation numbers
--serial numbers of our theme park tickets (if we have them)

those are the ones i can think of right now, but you get the idea..

i make several copies - one copy is in my purse, one copy with DH, one copy in my carry on bag as well as a soft copy in my email and on my computer.

Don't forget to enjoy the countdown. It is such a big part of the holiday - even that impatient feeling is all part of it :goodvibes

you could search the boards for packing lists..
there are some super great packing lists here..

by the way, i like to carry various medicines with us when we travel (i sort of turn into a walking apothecary)..
just so that i don't have to find a pharmacy when we're there...

tylenol and/or advil, decongestant, cough medicine, otrivin spray (one for each of us), thermometer, bandaids, bacitricin (or similar), burn cream (biafine is excellent)....etc..

you can get it all in the US of course, but i don't want to be bothered...

obviously, the creams have to go into your suitcase (security)...

I was going to mention medication, I used to work in a GPs and the number of people who forgot to get their repeat medication was a nightmare. So make sure if you need anything make sure you order it now. Also make sure you leave all medication in the boxes (even if don't take the full amount) just to avoid any questions at security.

I also make sure we have copies of our passports as well as copies of travel insurance etc.

Another tip I learned is to make sure that you take a photos of a piece of paper with you address on it on all of your SD cards so that if you loose your camera people can see your info and hopefully you will get it back. Make sure you put a number where you can be contacted while there)

May be worth getting some laminated cards printed with your contact phone number(s) on and give these to your DS's - then if they get lost, tell them to go to a shop/ride entrance and find a Cast Member and give them the card so that you can be contacted.

Also to add to Beth's list, have copies of your travel insurance and phone number(s) with you so that in an emergency, you don't have to go back to your accommodation to pick them up. Would also suggest including these on an e-mail as well, so that you could pick up the details anywhere they have a computer.

We also tend to save the important phone numbers on our mobile phones, prefixing the name with FLA so that all contacts are together and easy to find.

Have a great time.

great suggestions!! (i do carry the insurance around and have the policy number and contact number on my cheat sheet - i forgot to mention that)..

the suggestion for little kids is great...when our kids were little, we had them carry little notes with our phone number and the number of my mom (who lives in the states)...

i love the phone contacts suggestion....i don't use my iphone for calls, but i have it with me and i can definitely access my contact list....time to put all the numbers in there with FLA...thanks!!!
