I would really like to see Cambodia or maybe Singapore.

Cambodia, yes, with the dances and epic temples. But I'd hate a Singapore pavilion :D I frequent Spore, and tho it's a nice, modern city/country with lots of great things, it doesn't have enough personality to showcase at WS, IMO.

Those of you who selected Australia or another country like Greece or Egypt, what kind of ride do you envision??

I don't think they would put a giant Jesus Christ statue in WS...

I don't see why not. It's not like they would be promoting Christianity really, in that Christ the Redeemer is THE symbol of one of the world's largest cities. It's not Jesus as much as it is Rio...

Indian food is yummy. I'm all for more "adventurous" choices in Disney. I can't stand junk/fast food, and there's already so many places to grab a burger or something.

That said, India would be nice. Buuuuut if it's what I would personally love to see...

South Korea (Etude House store please!), Sweden, Finland, Denmark (What can I say, I adore [Fenno]Scandinavia, and the pastries are diviiiine.), maybe Scotland and Ireland but they do already have 'United Kingdom'-not just England.

ANY other country, please!!! But I do like the possibilities that Russia, India or Greece could bring :hippie:

If Disney could make a dragon fly over the park, would an Australian themed attraction with boomerang ride vehicles be too much? Perhaps like the Star Wars ride, there could be multiple directions that your boomerang would be flung...."If we can dream it, then we can do it...yes we can!"

I don't think Greece nor Spain is going to be in any position to fund a pavilion any time soon. They can't even fund the preservation of their original tourist attractions in their own countries.

And Russia is turning into Germany pre-WWII. Considering the fact that George Kalogridis and a large percentage of WDW employees and visitors are openly gay, I doubt Russia would make it far in the selection process. There is just something un-Disney about kidnapping, torturing, and imprisoning gay kids for being...well, gay.

India or Brazil would make for a nice culinary addition.

Those of you who selected Australia or another country like Greece or Egypt, what kind of ride do you envision??

For Greece, perhaps one in an Acropolis/Parthenon structure. It starts at the top with the invention of democracy and slowly descends through time until you see austerity protest riots.

Greece would be an incredible journey through time. They'll have to come up with a challenge to Percy Jackson.

For India pavilion, I'd personally looove to see an epic Bollywood style stage show

Ireland isn't part of the uk

Israel. Totally. They had a cool set-up in 2000.

A continuous moving vehicle loading thing. Large jeeps. Start at the Med and work way in to Jordan. Coastal region, deserts, cities.

Two restaurants. One casual walk-up: salads & such. Outdoor seating. One sit down -say- King David hotel.

HUGE marketplace.

Keep it apolitical, like the rest of them.

ETA - an oasis type splash zone area!

Those of you who selected Australia or another country like Greece or Egypt, what kind of ride do you envision??

Australia could be either a water ride from the harbor then through some of the rivers viewing the Outback.

Greece could be like a travel through time from ancient Greece to today.

I think the ride development is easy.

It's ironic that I came across this post. I was just mentioning adding pavilions on another thread. I voted for Brazil due to the lack of South American countries.

For Greece, perhaps one in an Acropolis/Parthenon structure. It starts at the top with the invention of democracy and slowly descends through time until you see austerity protest riots.

That's a good idea. Wasn't there a Greek-related festival at DL? Maybe that could be incorporated into the pavilion.

I also agree with the previous idea of adding Australia to AK. That would be very cool.
