It was a good day for him, he found two boxes of girl scout cookies under my son's bed and ate them ALL. He then threw up all the peanut butter patties (don't ask me how, he ate two different kinds but only threw up one kind!) I counted about 6 whole cookies, don't think I'll be eating that particular type again. He started to gag and we booted him outside. He is driving me CRAZY. He will be five soon (if he lives that long), he used to just surf the counters if something was on a plate. Now he nudges open garbage can, takes plastic bags and boxes off the counter. Have you ever tried to be the food police with three kids and their friends constantly coming and going!!! I told my kids to please put their cookies somewhere the dog wouldn't find them. For some reason my son thought under his bed was the ideal hiding location  . This is my brightest honor student but the kid has NO common sense.

We have a 5 yr old yellow lab. We can not leave him unattended. When we are out he is still in a pen because he feels the need to mark his territory (he was not neutered). He's not much of a thief of food, but certain things, if left unattended, will be stolen if he thinks no one is watching.

Oh NO!!!!! Our Hunter will be 3 years next month and I was hoping he would start to settle down....Now you come along and burst my bubble!!! You should have seen him at Christmas time. I went out and bought a muzzle so he wouldn't chew the tree! We both survived! ;) I believe his nickname of "Stitch" suits him perfectly!!! :jester:

I hope you gave him some milk with all them cookies

TC I hate to break the news -- I don't think labbies every "grow up", they just take longer naps!

Kallison, This is our 2nd one. I got lucky the first time around and he settled down around 3. Silly me, thought that would happen this time too!

I was watching "Emergency Vets" on Animal Planet one time, and the Vet. had to surgically remove several whole nails from a poor Lab's stomach!:scared: When the surgery was over, the Dr. just chuckled, looked right into the camera, shook his head and sighed, "Labs!"

Silly doggie.;)

I can't blame him for going for Girl Scout cookies though. I see a box of Thin Mints and I lose all control too.:D

I just hope his tummy feels better.
