What "must haves" for iPhone - cases, accessories, etc.?

I'm planning to upgrade to an iPhone 3GS soon - what accessories do you consider "must haves"?

A specific case or screen cover?
Adapters of any sort for the car?
Chargers or batteries?

You name it, if you think it is necessary, please let me know!

I am so clumsy I got the Otterbox case for mine, you will probably want a car charger as well because the battery runs down kind of quickly. I really enjoy my phone.

Definitely an adapter/charger for the car. DH put in an Isimple system (took him less then hour to do) in my truck and it so nice to plug in, charge and be able to listen to my tunes.

A case for sure, someone here recommended Speck's Hard Candy Shell. I found one for about half of what it goes for on the Speck site on Amazon and I LOVE it. It's silicone on the inside with a hard shell. It make me feel my phone it protected and isn't bulky either.

1. Car charger for SURE! The battery goes down quickly. The phone itself will come with a computer cable, a/c charger and headphones, but the car charger is separate.

2. I love my Speck Hard Candy case. Like the pp said, it's got the hard outside and rubber inside, so it does a great job of protecting your phone. Cute color choices, too! Mine is pink and purple. I did see a Kate Spade one online that I LOVE, but I don't know how well it protects.

The above 2 items we got as part of the protection plan -- for $100 we got the 2-yr warranty on the phone itself, a case and a car charger.

I also highly recommend the anti-reflective screen protectors. They come 3 to a pack for $15, and each one is good for about 6 months. DON'T get the mirrored ones...very hard to see the screen when you're using the phone outdoors.
