What must have items should I put in my backpack?

Ok so I'm making a list of stuff I need to have with me while I'm at DW. I plan to wear a backpack just cuz I hate how my purse falls off my shoulder and such. This way I can give it to my hubby to carry and he won't feel awkward caring a backpack vs. a purse.

So far I've got the following:

Camera
Hand Sanitizer
Wallet of Course
Wet Ones

Anything else.

My girls are 3 years old and 11 years old.

Thanks.

Snacks and small games for the girls to amuse them if the lines are long.

Here's what we have in our backpack:

rain ponchos
autograph books...in a gallon zip bag in case they get wet
camera
hand sanitizer
extra water bottles in the side pockets
body glide...in case anyone thinks they might get a blister
a small first aid kit....bandaids, neosporin, etc
a gallon zip bag with candies and stuff ...occupies everyone in line. gum, jolly ranchers, fun size m&m's, stuff like that.

Extra batteries for the camera if possible. Those things always go at the most inconvenient times and I guarantee you they will be cheaper at home than in the parks.

We always pack ziplocks, extra batteries, snacks, tiny umbrella, ponchos, water bottles, cameras, wallet, cell phone, sunscreen, pills- tylenol, bonine, etc, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, bandaids (LOTS), reservation numbers... hmmm am I missing anything?

Our backpack (we have two boys - 4 & 8) includes:
  • Rain parkas (in gallon ziploc bags)
  • Germ-X
  • Wet wipes
  • Extra camera batteries
  • Camera
  • Small snacks (granola bars, mini cereal boxes, fruit, etc. - as examples)
  • Aspirin and a few band-aids

If going during a hot time we'd include damp washcloths (in ziploc bags), sunscreen, a couple of water bottles, and some single-serve Kool-Aid flavor packets.

Even if we didn't have the kids and were planning on a full day in the parks I'd probably still carry that stuff.

WATER! I think water is the most important. Water bottles at disney are expensive. And little bags of snacks. Cheaper than buying a bag of chips or fries or something. And hand sanitizer :goodvibes

A couple of hair ties! My daughters all have long hair and it was fabulous to throw up their hair into buns when they got hot and sweaty...

Awesome! Thanks! I think I've got everything I need. This is going to sound restarted maybe...Are there outlets that can be used. I have a Nikon and has rechargeable battery and my iphone. In case they need charging...

Autograph books where do I get those?

I'm sure your bag is getting full, but when we went last August, I also took a change of clothes and bathing suit for each of our two daughters. Each girls' clothing/suit went in a separate gallon size ziplock bag so I could access them easily.

Have fun!

Well I've kinda decided that Why should I have to carry everyone stuff because I'm the mom! I think not! Everyone is old enough to carry their bag pack so that's what's going to happen. I'll carry my stuff and my 3 years stuff and everyone else can carry their own!

extra change of clothes in case the kiddos get too wet on some rides and they get uncomfortable or cold. A small towel helps too - in case anything (camera for example) gets wet and needs to get dried off (it rains a lot in the summer).

Sounds like you're going to need a large backpack :)
