What MPGs does your car get (on average)?

My new car gets about 33 on the highway and about 23 around country roads. (no city) So I guess my average would be in the mid 20's and that's for a 3.5 liter V6 sedan.

Ooops!! That one choice shouid be 31-35 not 31-15.

My 2500 suburban gets 15/19 mpg. (GASP....I freely admit to having a SUV and loving it!!!!!! ) My Honda gets about 30/35 mpg and my hubby's truck gets around 15/19.

17 mpg on daily stuff. 21-22 when we go on trips. Some of our trips are scenic trips and for some reason we get better mgp anyway.

I miss my car that got 35 mpg. Gas was less than a dollar when I had it too.

Brand new Toyota Corolla gets 41 MPG. It's also a stick shift.

Actually, for me it doesn't matter. I do believe that I get about 15mpg.

We have a Saturn 5-speed for 34 in town and almost 40 on the highway.
Chevy Silverado that gets 17 in town and 20+ on the highway

My commute to work is a mix of hwy/city and I average 26-28mpg.

However, on the recent road trip from Florida to NY and back, my baby was logging about 40-42mpg!

My 2001 Chevy Cavalier gets about 35 city and anywhere from 40-47 highway. I love it!

We picked up our new Honday CRV on Fri, trading in our gas guzzling Expedition. The Expedition got 11-13 around town and 20-23 on long hauls....The Honda is suppose to get 23 city and 29 hwy....The salesman told us that the gas mileage will not be as good as it can be until we have tanked it 3 times, something about breaking the engine in....We topped the tank off tonight and it got 23 miles around town with the first tank....
We will probably buy a hybrid the next time around but we want to see how reliable these new type cars are.
