Other than Harry Potter because I just have no interest.

We've been watching Disney movies either for the first time (my DD) or as a refresher (DS and me) just as a fun way to get geared up for our upcoming trip, but I'm wondering what Universal movies we should watch? Transformers, obviously... what else?

We love the Mummy, Despicable Me, Men in Black and Spider-Man.

Agree with most others and of course it depends on the age of any children with you, if you think Jurassic Park is too scary for them, the ride might be too!

But main films (TV shows / books) represented at Universal & IoA are
Jurassic Park
Men in Black
Transformers
Shrek
ET
Despicable Me
The Mummy
Twister (not essential though)
Terminator 2 (depending on ages again!)
Spiderman (although really this is based on the comic book not the film)
Incredible Hulk (again comic book really and its a coaster so depends on kids)
Popeye cartoons
Dr Seuss books (Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, Sam I Am)
The Simpsons
Harry Potter

Don't forget:

Hop
Betty Boop
Scooby-Doo
Dora the Explorer

They can all be found around the parks.

What is there for Hop? My kid actually LOVES that movie. I was a charity thing with James Marsden and told him that my son just LOVES him and he was nice enough to make a little video for him on my phone. :cool1: Anyway, I didn't think that would be a THING. I've been to Universal a couple of times and never saw anything! What's there? :)

Hop is in the superstar parade, meet and great, sometimes character breakfast.

We met with Doc Emmet Brown from Back to the Future near his Delorean.

There is also Curious George, Woody Woodpecker and Barney in the kiddie area.

I had no interest Harry Potter until we were going in April of last year. Watched the first one ended up watching the rest. I would recommend at least watching the first one, the HP rides will make more sense if you have at least seen that one.
