Any suggestions on what Disney movies to watch with my kiddos before we take our trip in Jan.
There are a lot of Disney movies that they have not seen. We have seen all of the Pixar films over and over and over, but what about some older ones.
Are there rides that are themes to specific movies that my kids will appreciate more if they have seen the movie?
Ex. We are doing the Lilo and Stitch breakfast, but my kiddos have never seen the movie. So, that is on our watch list.

Thanks!

Definitely Cinderella!
Other good choices would be Dumbo, Peter Pan and Aladdin as all have popular rides for the kids.

Definitely Lilo and Stitch.

Aladdin is good (magic carpet ride). Peter Pan is good (Peter Pan ride, plus Peter, Wendy and Captain Hook frequent the parks)

Mine like the old chip and dale cartoons. They are short and they see "those silly chipmunks" all through the parks. they usually have Donald or Pluto or Mickey in the cartoons too, so they "know" all of the Fab 5 characters as well.

Cinderella, being that it is "her" castle, and the carousel, and if they go meet her in toontown is also good.

The Little Mermaid may also be good, she has a grotto and a ride at HS.

Beauty and the Beast. Belle tells the kids a story about her (i.e. the movie) in Fairytale Garden and that's cute. You also see her and the Beast in several meet and greets.

All of the WINNIE the POOH movies (meet and greet characters)
The Lion King (show at AK)
A Bug's Life ( attraction at AK)
Finding Nemo ( show at AK)

any Mickey and Friends;)

How about the Swiss Family Robinson and then take them to the Treehouse.

My kids like to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 1,2,3, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror. When they were all little they liked to watch Nemo, Lion King, Toy Story.

I bought dvds of movies dd8 and dd5 have not seen (Aristocats, Bolt) and UP! which they only saw once at the theater to watch on the plane - I thought it would hold their attention longer on the plane than movies like Cinderella that they've seen a million times.
