DH and I had lunch together and this started playing. We couldn't remember what movie it was from. Mid 80's I think.

I just love everything Phil Collins (and Genesis) does. He has such a wonderful gift.

This was written for the movie Buster. Collins was in the film, playing former train-robber Buster Edwards.
Lamont Dozier produced this and helped Collins write it. He was part of the famous Motown songwriting team Holland-Dozier-Holland. Collins returned the favor by singing with Dozier on his 1991 song "The Quiet's Too Loud."
This won a Grammy in 1989 for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture or Television. It was the first Grammy won by a member of the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team.
For Collins, this was his 7th US #1 hit.
This was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. It lost to Carly Simon's "Let The River Run," from the Working Girl soundtrack.
