So, I was just watching Jersey Girl, and I know, it's just a "chick flick," but it had a really big impact on me and made me really emotional and I started to cry.
That's kinda unusual for me, usually only music touches me that deeply.

So, anyway, what moves you?

It could be a movie, book, experience, anything that really touches you and maybe even makes you see a situation in a different light.

Brokeback Mountain (book and movie) and The Patriot both reduce me to tears. And that's saying something!

that Titanic exhibit I went to on Thursday.
The single most moving expirience of my life.

Peter Pan

The novelization of Revenge of the Sith, and The Hot Zone.

Im reading this book in english Say Goodnight Gracie, and everyone said its really sad and they cried. So most likely that.

The ASPCA commercials and the Pedigree commercials.
Where they show the pets locked up in the pounds.
I'm guaranteed to cry whenever that comes on.

Yes I agree I volunteered at a no kill animal shelter and that could make me cry when I came home sometimes. I wanted to take them all home with me!
My singing and any music that I do myself really moves me.

Movies: Tru Confessions, Ladder 49, and some others that I can't remember right now.

Books: The Outsiders (I bawled throughout the ending), A Walk To Remember, HP:DH (the part where Remus & Tonks die), and A Corner of the Universe.

The poems I write. I don't like other people reading them, even if my dad thinks I should get some of them published. :headache:
Any sad movie. I watched this one where this fire-fighter got stuck in this building and he KNEW he wasn't going to make it and had all these flashbacks of family experiences and everything. I was bawling so bad. It was kind of pathetic really. :guilty:
I saw this video once on Youtube of this orphanage full of kids that had the EXACT same birth-defect that I do. But it was in a poor country so they couldn't afford the thing those kids need to correct it. The video that I saw was taken in the room called the "death room" because "there was nothing they could do" for the kids in it. Needless to say, I was in tears. I thought that every place was able to get some sort of access to the medical stuff, but I guess I was wrong. :sad1:

ASPCA commercials
RENT
The song "Alyssa Lies" and "Concrete Angel"

That book was probably the most I've cried in the past 4 years.
I just bawled throughout the entire end.

I did as well. Actually, I think I cried randomly for the two weeks that followed that book.
It didn't help that I decided I'd watch a few epsiodes of Degrassi online, one of them being Rock This Town, when JT dies.
Time Stands Still Part 1, Rock This Town and Standing in the Dark Part 1 are all episodes of Degrassi that just make me break down.
(Reasoning behind Standing in the Dark Pt.1 is because at the end Toby is talking to JT's grave.. and it's so unfair and sad).

Movies, especially Rent and tons of others. And at the curtain call of every Broadway show I see, I always get choked up. I think it's just the realization of so many emotions, and cheering in general just makes me emotional. Actually, something like that happened the other day. I'm in Fiddler on the Roof at my school. And there's one song where I have to conduct the entire cast, because we can't see the orchestra offstage. I'm the only one who knew how to do it. So my director said in front of the cast and crew that I was doing a great job, and everyone started cheering like crazy. I'm kind of shy compared to some of my friends in the cast, so to get this kind of appreciation from everyone really moved me. So yeah, getting a really special recognition from a lot of people is probably one of the biggest things that move me.

Child Abuse
Holocaust
When main characters and stuff die in shows/movies/books.

Movies: Titanic, Brokeback Mountain.

For Titanic it was about 15 minutes of crying. For Brokeback Mountain, about an hour.

Books. Twilight, though it doesn't reduce me to tears, makes my eyes well up at many parts. I cried during Elsewhere, even though the ending isn't really... sad.

Music.

But usually music doesn't make me cry. It just makes me... feel things O.o

Same here. I can't watch that movie and not cry. Especially at the end and while Ennis is visiting Jack's parents.

So many things.
Music mostly.
But also Jane Austen novels.
And Lord of the Rings when Frodo leaves.
And The Notebook.
And Harry Potter: DH.
I bawled only because it was over, and I felt like I was losing a friend or something.

album: Forever Blue by Chris Issak
song(s): The Tide by The Spill Canvas
Miserable at Best by Mayday Parade
Everything Reminds me of Her by Elliott Smith
Movie: Schindler's List.
Book: Gone with the Wind.

The Rugrats Movie when Chuckie says his first word "NO!!!!!"
lol
The only movie a manly man should cry to RUDY.
