What Moment gives You 'Goosebumps'??

I am a blubbering mess this morning, after reading all of these. The one guaranteed to reduce me to tears, though, is just coming around the square on Main St., and looking up for the first time to see the Castle at the end of the street on our first day in the park. I won't look for it until I'm at that spot.

1. The final part of the music in Impressions de France. It's part of the Organ Symphony by S. S. - (will butcher spelling...) I love that powerful music so much, I used it as the recessional to my wedding. Now when I hear it, DH holds my hand and wipes tears away!

2. End of Great Movie ride - movie clips.

3. Reading everyone else's posts. DH is sitting beside me here and I'm trying to hide my misty eyes.

The Welcome DW sign as my children, no matter what their ages, squeal in delight.

Pulling into the rsort we are staying at and listening to my children just oh and ah over the place.

Watching the monorail pull into the Contemporary.

Standing on main street and seeing the castle.

Seeing Mickey Mouse for the first time on the trip.

Entering the Garden Grille knowing what a great time we are going to have.

Seeing the pictures of Space.

There are lost of other moments. I just love the place and have since the day I first went so many , many years ago.

I pray each and everyone of you have the blessing to be at MK during a Christmas Season. Magic is not even a good word to use for this time of the year as it is more then magic.

I attended the 1965 NYC Worlds Fair. I was only 4 and I vididly remembered It's a Small World, Carousel of Progress, and Mr. Lincoln. The memories of these attractions stayed with me my whole life, until the early 70's when I was able to see them once again. On each and every vist to WDW, when I enter these attractions I just am full of goosebumps and cry my eyes out as they bring me back to a time of innocence and wonder. Thank You Mr. Disney

Unfortunately CoP will be not be open on our next visit, but I still have my memories:D

I don't know if I posted this or not, but the major thing that gave me goosebumps, was when our towncar was taking us to our resort our first day, and we were driving past Epcot, and Fireworks were going off. Talk about a welcome to Disney!!!! Also walking into the lobby of ASMO gave me goosebumps, knowing that I had been wanting to stay onsite for the longest time!!!

When the first sounds of SpectroMagic fill the air. Reminds me of the last time DW and I were there with DS (now 22). We had our arms on each other's shoulders - he was a teen, and did this willingly - and simply enjoyed being there together as a family while watching the parade.

Ok, my biggest goosebump moment is sitting around the firepit at Arusha Rock at AKL. I just sit there, rocking and listening to the soft African music, looking up at the giant window with the wooden vine cris crossing everywhere and the lights flickering on the metal vine climbing the towers. I sit there and think, "Only in Disney World could I see and feel this -- and I'm here!"

Another time I feel it is walking through the AKL and WL lobbies. They are so majestic and awesome! I love listening to the themed music in both places, smelling the great aromas, and feeling totally caught up in the moment of being at the funnest place on earth.

And last but not least, its riding on the greatest ride there - Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Nothing beats sitting back on that hard seat, putting your sore and achy feet up across from you, feeling the wind blow through your hair, and entering Space Mountain. You truly get a rush as you tour around Tomorrow Land, seeing all your favorite and familiar sites, and thinking, "I never want to get off this ride and leave!"

Pure Magic!

Entering the hotel and getting that Disney smell - how do they do it? When we walk into the Poly, they have a very distinctive smell, a good one, but unidentifiable. Don't know what or why, but I have smelled it once or twice in other places and I am immediately transported back there. I love the lobby with the huge plants and the parrots. Heck, I love it all and just being there gives me goosebumps.

Driving into to WDW and seeing the Welcome to WDW sign, the castle on main street, the SpaceShip Earth Ball at Epcot, and the way my children get along while we are there.

Oh pulling into the resort we are staying at on property. Hearing my children's squeals of delight just prior to parking brings tears to my eyes.

I agree with all of these, but my goosebumps start early.

I get my first ones, when talking to the Travel Agent about booking the trip and the big ones come when I make the final payment and KNOW that I will be there!

I'll be going to Disney for as long as it's around and I'm alive.

Heck, just thinking about going to WDW gives me goosebumps!:D

I also get goosebumps when we drive underneath the the Walt Disney World sign and hearing the "Circle of Life" from the Lion King when Animal Kingdom is getting ready to open.

*Watching the beginning of the WDW planning video
*Standing on Main Street looking at the castle
*True Colors song
*Any time I hear "Circle of Life"
*Checking in to the hotel
*The beginning of the MK Parade - whichever one it is
*Seeing little ones experiencing the magic
*Reading all these posts and realizing I'm not the only one!!

My newest Goosebumps moment.....

Lets just say DH and Grumpy have some stuff in common when it comes to WDW. But, we're going to sleep last night after talking about how the upcoming trip is a week away and after awhile he wakes me up and says, in the little kid voice, "I'm too excited to sleep" (just like the commercial!) There's hope for him yet!

We're taking kids (not ours) in a week, for their first time, and are looking forward to making some more goosebumps moments as we see WDW through their eyes!

There are so many moments that give me goosebumps when I go to WDW!!! Let's see I always get that feeling when pulling onto WDW property :D It's an unbelievable feeling to know I'm actually there!!!! Then of course when I see the Epcot ball or MK I get that feeling. I think the moment that tops it all is when I step on Main Street for the first time during that vacation. Hearing the music, seeing the people, and seeing the castle brings tears to my eyes.....and it always will!!! Just thinking about it gets me feeling that way :)

-any Disney vacation planning video
-the music from Spectromagic
-Illuminations
-driving under the sign
-Fantasy in the Sky
Lately it's been the music from Sleeping Beauty(I know you, I waltzed with you once upon a dream la, la, la)DD3 has been watching it every night and when I hear that I am immediately transported to Main Street, right in front of the castle, waltzing with my family.

I'm in absolute love with the ONCE UPON A DREAM song too nowadays :) Just hit me out of nowhere.

We bought some Disney Kid Clips and the cute player today, and that was the song I was looking forward to the most

(happy ferret dance)

number one would gotta be when someone says "Welcome Home" when we get to back to the Villas! :teeth:

also during Illuminations are the end where the globe opens up and then the all the bright white fireworks come

seeing the castle for the first time every trip

watching the France movie :)

-The voice of monorail guy at the airport monorail. I can't wait until I hear 'Please stand clear of the doors...' at the 'real' monorail.

-As soon as we drive under the 'Walt Disney World' sign. Goosebump city!!!!

-Entering the MK and soaking up the atmosphere.

-Seeing the castle from the bus on our first visit of the trip!

-The intro to SpectroMagic.

-The Finale of IllumiNations ('We Go On...').

-The True Colors song in HISTA (Is it really gone??? :( )
